Can only really see Ennis and Trott as absolute certs.  Adams would have to be fairly short as would Djuardin but of the others I am not too sure.  Possibly Pendleton but would have been more confident if she had won the sprint.  Think there will be another one or two and 20-1 almost certainly value but not sure it is that short.  Think Ellie Simmonds is still pretty likely but it could probably be any paralympian.

Pendleton is a certainty to be in the 10 imo

A small note for the lay of Wiggins...

Darlington PO has sold out of Ennis stamps but there's still plenty of Wiggins available Smiley

Good point, the Ryder cup

Do we think they might expand the shortlist up from 10 this year?!

Would make enormous sense

Ladbrokes 100-1 over 7 women

We have 15 Women Gold medalists

Market will be void if more than 10 nominees.

Very likely that Ladbrokes would void the bet if they laid anything at 100/1.

Definitely worth a tenner just in case though.

More than 10 makes a massive difference, not least because you end up spreading the market. Tennis fans vote for Murray; cycling fans are already split between Wiggins, Hoy and Pendleton (in that order IMO).

Just don't see there being more than 4 of 10 cyclists, especially as we have other sports winning golds this time around. Trott being the most likely owner of the fourth spot.

I'd say the men have 6 positions tied up already. The women 2.

who is the sixth bloke?
Murray, Farah, Wiggins, Hoy, Ainslie, Kenny. Trott & Ennis for the girls.
