2.0 the under 2.5 in the Liverpool/Arsenal game?
Feels like a mug bet, but it looks pretty tempting nonetheless.
Thanks Keith. OK, we have gone with Mad Marty. £50 @ Evens, Liverpool v Arsenal, under 2.5, with BetVictor. ON
Liverpool v Arsenal Under 2.5 (Over/Under 2.5) Odds: 1/1 Stake: 50.00 Possible Return: 100.00

That said they have done nothing wrong so far and Spa is a track that can simply suit a car, just as it did for Force India few years ago when Raikkonen denied Fisichella a famous victory after he scored an unexpected pole position. I suspect they have chosen a similar set up to Button but with the Sauber so easy on its tyres they may be just able to make it work better. Certainly looking at the odds on offer I am much happier siding with Sauber than with market favourite Button. So far this season Kobayashi has been the better qualifier of the two Sauber drivers but Perez just shades it over a race distance.
We are already on Raikkonen who is still very much in this race if it proves to be that Button is on the wrong race strategy. If McLaren have got it wrong then the race is likely to be between Raikkonen and one of the Saubers. Backing Sauber to be the highest scoring team is an option but they have only managed to get both cars home in six of the eleven races to date, which is a not the strike rate of a top team. A Sauber to win is 15/2 with Hills which is tempting but beating both Button and Raikkonen is not going to be easy. Backing e/w seems to be the wisest option as a podium finish would show a profit and there is always the chance of hitting the win as well. FROM A F1 JUDGE

Just shorthand for some of the bigger professional betting groups. In terms of football people are often effectively referring to Tony Bloom or Matthew Benhams groups but there are others.

the seemingly constant backing of liverpool every week is based on moves from the "stats" based syndicates i believe

Very well done to Doobs. Excellent saver strategy for the thread on Button to claw back a bit of the F1 losses for the thread. Raikkonen podiumed, so that wasn't the worst bet ever. Not so well done to Roman Grosjean, who caused this

I second that, Doobsy gives us our first ever F1 winning bet, and gets us off the mark for September. Only small money, but I'll take that. A smart piece of thinking there by Doobs, taking advantage of changed circumstances, wp wp.
If we can get the unders bet home at Anfield, that'll help too.

the spl top scorer bets looks a possible no no now
celtic confirmed signing of another striker (ex deportivo)
saying that it would help if the firms actually priced the new men up in the market
