A break was allowed to get away to compete for the stage win.
Rodriguez countered any attack from Contador on the final climb. Finishing 3rd ahead of Contador & just behind Valverde.
Still strong & controlling the race like a boss.

Bet suggestion ALBASPINA 5.00 FOLKESTONE 4-1 i think it's the best handicapped horse by miles,  is value i expected 2-1 the ground is my only worry but at 4-1 its a worry i can have selkirks do better on the turf and hardly ever win on debut, ever since she did i have expected her to develop into a group 3 horse and i still do |

how many more stages to go? any time trials in these? 6 more stages, finishing in Madrid on Sunday. One maybe two tough mountain stages left. Thankfully no more time trials. |

Yes, should be favourite now.
Been a cracking tour, with some tough stages still to come Contador will still attack no doubt. But Purito has been covering them easily.
The best of the three Grand Tours this year.

Sang Moon Bae is swimming after the boat containing Choi and Wi. Currently 3 over through 8 and is at 2 over par overall. Dr Nohs lead is 11 shots - more of a pillow than a cushion.
