...it's 5.5 I think
Stan James are (were?) way out of line @ 11/10 for this, (over 5.5) with everyone else odds-on, but they seem to have removed the Market, though it is reported as "error" at present.

Anyway, I decided to go the nitty route & had £30 @ 4/6 with William Hill for over 4.5.

Ronald's just under 3/1 fgs tonight yet Benzima who starts up front is 8/1. I know Ronaldo scores a few but a striker at nearly three times the price?

I don't have a clue about that, Graham, & we only have 10 minutes to get on.
Does seem a bit ool though.

This is - so far - a tremendous effort by Wakefield, considering what big dogs they are in the betting.
They lead 16-12.
Come on hectorrrrrrrrr

No not really. There are maths angles that can make them +EV plays......bookies are a lot sharper than they used to be though. Example - tonight Messi was out for Barca which automatically made almost the entire Barca midfield and attack value at best prices. Not sure about Benzema and haven't done the maths but given Ronaldo has a sulk on it wouldn't seem the worst bet in the world but has started now irrespective.

Not to be Mr Tikay. For 60 minutes I thought Trinity were going to do it. I blame myself for using all my daily karma on landing 2 out of 3 draw bets in the rugby union. Still, onwards and upwards.

Daily Report as @ 0830, Saturday September 16th
We lost £105 yesterday.
Of 9 bets which completed, only 2 won.
Barnsley, Camelot, Celtic, Main Sequence & Wakefield collectively cost us £180.
£75 was clawed back in two bets, on similar markets (6's) in the same event, Hampshire v Warwickshire - & that ended up as the mother of all sweats, so we must consider ourselves fortunate not be reporting red figures this morning.
For balance, the bookmaking industry were all partying last night, they managed the holy grail of winning huge numbers on both horse racing AND football on the same day.
So, just one of those days, & even in hindsight, the bets look good. This is not delusion, it's just the way it was.
Miss Matthews is still in the Women's Golf, she made the cut, but is not placed to win, so the bet remains technically "live", but we are likely to be facing a £20 loss on that tomorrow.
We invested exactly £100 on forward bets, too, as follows....
Total Points >41.5 in tonight's Jets @ Steelers. (£55)
Malinga, top Sri Lanka bowler. (£40)
Ben Marshall, FGS, Leicester v Wolves today. (£5)
A big "well done" to Nick Jenkins, aka "ripple11". He gave his first Fred winner yesterday, and has supported Fred since Day One. He is always first with the
and
after someone tips a winner & is the most gracious poker player you could ever wish to meet. He was APAT World Amateur Champion back in 2008, & does OK at the poker without ever getting out of line. One of nature’s gentlemen.
An even bigger “well done” to this chap, who managed an astounding feat yesterday. Evens that horsey is first to identify him, & to explain why.

It was a Herculen effort hector, & a joy to watch. They were clearly outclassed, but gave their all, & a bit more. They twice led, but to be fair, Leeds were far the better side, & eventually the dam was bound to burst. We enjoyed the journey though.
Well done on the RU bets.

Hopefully, we can get back on the winning track today. After all, if we do badly, it will amount to an……

"Coral are not a bookmarker" - Chapter 379
Just tried for a bet on Danny Kedwell to be top league two scorer @ 11-1 and was offered...£50! "I'm ever so sorry sir, that's as much as the traders will allow."
Crazy price. He's already top of the charts on six, Gillingham are a strong team and he's the penalty taker. There's also no chance he'll be off anywhere in January; he's 29 and is a Gillingham lad.
The clincher is Xpressman has him in a match bet against Jon Parkin with me.
Suggest you nip in quick before they cut him to 5-2.
Well I guess we get almost a season-long sweat, so we've had £25 @ 9/1 with Chompy's favourite Bookmaker.
It looks a really good bet, but I'm loathe to tie up too much money for 7 or 8 months, hence just £25.

Danny Kedwell, what a player, was my hero for a couple of seasons. Gutted he went to Gillingscum but he's doing well over there now unfortunately. Think the odds are too low but you have a chance.
