Great stuff, horsey. Terrific spot.

Amen to that.

look at the final make up and it looks comfortable

i wasnt feeling that way at half time

having said that its quite easy to see why bayern nearly always lose this bet at home they rarely if ever press the ball high or leave the ground

It was a really great spot, & you deserved the win.

If you were to do a siimilar bet again......would it be worthwhile researching the Ref's "previous" as to cards?

it is a must

he was pretty inexperienced but had refereed maybe 20 or so europa league minorish games and plenty of u21 internationals

from that he had given plenty of cards

13-10 about Wolfs @ Posh is still there with Billy Mounts but no idea how. They just took care of Dipshits as expected 2-0. Don't expect the price to last.

well done you were on him. Did you get a good price? Remind me not to find reasons not to back him again  Smiley

any ideas for the road race?

Gilbert @ 3/1 seems obvious, but can see a race full of attacks from the off.

Also don't understand why Teajay Van Garderen is around 200-300/1. So had a fiver EW

Van Garderen should have done better in the time trial so assume hes not in good form.

The top 2 are way to short priced, end of season, these guys have already peaked in a long summer. personally i'm not betting apart from backing Cav for small stakes. Its a break away vs Cav on a bunch. Fully expect to hear someone random like Moreno win it.

Teajay was only 5 seconds off 3rd in the TT so form is good. His splits times going up the Cauberg were good.

Agree Gilbert & Sagan are too short. Sagan has confirmed his form is not great.

If Cav get make the last circuit you have a winner. Fear he hasn't got the legs.

So looking for a sprinter in form, who can ride all day at the front over lumpy stuff?

Whatever looking forward to this race.

Boassen Hagen? I watch TdF and a handful of other cycling events, so it's an outsider view really, but he seems to do the prep work for Cav when required. He is capable of getting in the breakaway, too, right?

30-1 seemed to me to be attractive. I say "attractive". I mean night club across the dancefloor attractive. She looks good from 20 feet away in punctured darkness, with a fine sweat-mist between you, creating a moderate haze. She might be Sienna Miller but she could also be Stephen Miller. That kind of attractive.

I would prefer Boassen Hagen in a breakaway to a pure sprint. IMO he isn't quite up there with the top sprinters and doesn't do too well in bunch sprints

Newcastle taking 79 fans tomorrow and our team looks really week. We have a game on Sunday that pardew will 100pc prioritise so will be interesting to see line up. I don't know much about the opponents, but Newcastle will probably field:

        Harper

Tavernier Williamson Taylor santon

Obertan bigimirina Anita marveux

    Shola vuckic

It's still a decent team and all would be stars in the Portuguese league IMO. I'd probably avoid betting for/against in this game. If anything I'd probably bet on the opponents to win most corners, we will be playing narrow and neither Shola nor vuckic run into the channels. Our defence is quite slow tomorrow so will be playing a deeper line and with the probaby noisy home support they will have some more pressure whilst we will try to contain, keep the ball and nick a goal.

I'd we can get a favourable price I'd bet on most corners for them but not touch the result here.

Upto you ofc

Just putting it out there for discussion as it leapt off the page due to the gulf in class between the two teams but contradicts lots of the rules I use betting profitably on NFL. Green Bay -3 at Seattle getting 9/10 with Pinny. Seems like GB match up very favourably and are a very superior team.

hi mate,

Seattle is deffo one of the hardest places for away teams to play in the NFL. It's a place where away teams give up a lot of penalties due to communication issues because of the sheer noise the crowd makes** ( known as the 12th man). It's about a 4 1/2 -5 point home advantage. This was from the play off game they won as around 10 point underdogs against New Orleans 2 seasons ago.

http://www.king5.com/news/local/Seahawks-fans-cause-12th-Man-quake-during-Lynch-touchdown-113208789.html

from Wiki**

The "12th man" term has been used illegally by various American football teams including the NFL's Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Washington Redskins, and Chicago Bears in reference to their supporters, though all but Seattle originally stopped using the term "12th man" at the request of Texas A&M (the Bears currently use the phrase "4th Phase"). The Seattle Seahawks continue to use the phrase, having settled with Texas A&M out of court after a trademark lawsuit filed by Texas A&M. In 2012, the Washington Redskins once again infringed on the Texas A&M trademark despite previous cease and desist letters sent by Texas A&M[2][3] As a tribute to their fans, the Seahawks retired the number 12 during a game on 15 December 1984. Since then No. 12 Jerseys have been sold by the team and worn by Seahawk fans, often with the name "Fan" on the back. The Seahawks also have a ceremony before each home game where a flag bearing the No. 12 is raised by a prominent individual.

GB are certainly the better team but Seattle regularly give much better teams a v tough game at home. I watched their game v Dallas on Sunday and they kept that O at bay( tho Dallas were a little one dimensional after getting behind early). I think you need to beat the line by quite a way to be against Seattle at home.

Much better value at the moment in the NFL is the 10/11 Carolina to beat the Giants 2morrow night. Boyles seem to be oblivious to the fact that Bradshaw and Nicks are both out for the Giants. Its about a 1.75 chance now with Pinny so won't last long.

I quite like Green Bay -3 at Seattle aswell.

It is easily one of the toughest places to go in the league but won't the bookies have taken into account the 12th man factor when setting the lines? I actually think in this case it may have been over valued slightly, especially following Sundays result vs Dallas. I had Green Bay at -4.5 anyway.

Good point Bobby makes about Carolina tomorrow night. The 10/11 has gone now on the moneyline but you can still get 2/1 on half time-full time with VC despise it being 11/10 in places. I don't have much knowledge/stats about half time/full time betting on nfl though.

Thanks Patrick. That is pretty much in line with a recommend we had from reds yesterday morning, which went as follows......

I think we have to look to back Maritimo @ 7/5 tomorrow against Newcastle.  Pardew is ringing the changes and Krul, Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Taylor, Guittierrez, Simson, Cabaye and Coloccini will all miss the game.  To back it up I think the Portuguese sides tend to be a little underrated and take the comp seriously with only one change from injury.  They managed a draw on Sunday at home to Sporting and are unbeaten in three at the beginning of the season there and they finished fifth last year.

I think we might therefore have a small interest in the Portugese chaps.

Personally, (probably not a Fred bet) I really like that "most corners" angle, & I'll have a bit of that on my own account.

Thanks again.

Most corners angle.

Marvellous and to the point.
