I kinda like City too but I dont think there is any rush to take the price as it may well drift further as they are 2.17ish in Asia and there has been no resistance to the drift at all yet.  I think they will get backed back at some point but might be possible to get 2.20+ on Betfair at some point.

I was having a look around this morning to see if I could find some value somewhere, &, learning from others, I now try & price the matches up BEFORE I go to Oddschecker. I had  Man City at around 8/11 in my mind (lol, hark at me.....), so I assumed I had misread the situation, & perhaps the Germen Gentlemen were better than I assumed.

Anyway, as you suggest, let's see what others think, even if it means we lose a smidgen of value by waiting.

Really good idea to do this, also 8/11 wldnt have shocked me, i'd have just said no bet. Like you I felt i'd possibly misread the situation or that maybe City had a key player out. Bar odd defensive woe in terms of cover all seems fine.

Don't see why we are waiting if the price is good.  2.18 on betfair and we are beating that.  I would have expected shorter too.  City seem a worse team this season, but that isn't enough to stop me coming down on the side if betting.

23/20 has gone last i looked, 11/10 or 2.2 on betfair both seem still fair enough, can't see how it will drift much further though. Pinnacle are 15/13 also.

True but the general price in Asia was 2.16ish at that time so the point remains ;-) and it is past time Tikay got himself sorted with an account at SBO to go with his pinnacle and Betfair accounts.

I, and I think the market, assumed Real may rest some players tonight ahead of El Classico but they haven't.  Think both the 4/7 and -1 1.90 represent value along with Ronaldo @5/6 to score anytime.
