Thanks Doobsy.

I'll work out the best way to sort the Liverpool - Newcastle game a bit later.

Can someone explain the price on Liverpool this weekend to me because I don't understand it.  I have looked at it again and again and I cannot comprehend it.

The other week I was mistaken in my belief that Liverpool had improved.  They now appear to be as bad as they were before.  I have laid at 1.59.

Bump for tikay.  There was lots of agreement on laying Liverpool before this post

I also quoted this article.

Morning Mr Tikay.

Rugby union London Welsh v Bath. ( At Oxford not in Belgium )

At home the Welsh have beaten Exeter, given Saracens a game and should have beaten Gloucester. They have a handy ability to score tries against anyone, and if they can play good defense today then I don't think there will be much between the 2 sides. What has swung the bet for me is the fact that Bath are going to be without 2 of their first choice back row. This will greatly hinder the way they like to play, slowing down the ruck ball.

Bath are  consistently being over rated by the layers who seem to think that they are still in the glory era ( when I played against them) of Hall, Dawe, Chillcot, Robinson etc. Well that generation passed long ago and probably a couple more generations too and I think they can be opposed today.

I make the Welsh a 6/4 or 7/4 shot at best but we can back them at 5/2.

Suggest £20 Welsh @ 5/2 and £5 the draw @ 22-1 with Bet Victor.

You used to play top-flight Rugby? Tell us more please! Unless you are lifting my leg.......

Anyway, we are on both those bets, exactly as directed.

£20 @ 5/2, BetVictor, London Welsh to prevail.

Hector, Banahan should be back today to bolster the midfield. Missing back rows is a big problem but pace and power at 12/13 is some compensation.

Still a good price?

I wouldn't lift your leg Mr Tikay. I played rugby for many, many, many years ( as a scrum half or fly half ) which is where my game reading came from and explains why I am better at picking rugby bets than golf bets. If you saw me swing a golf club you would never follow a golf tip of mine again !

That's no good - we need to know more about this!

Come on, spill the beans.

I am not worried about Banahan but more concerned about the Bath halfbacks who I like. Nowadays all premiership teams have a size and power option in the backs and Pacific Island monsters in abundance. The days when England broke the mould by introducing " Kent the dent"  have long passed.

Yes Hector, you can't put in a throwaway line, and expect us to throw it away.
At least give us a name, so that we can google a lot, and mock a little.

hector!

Charles Kent, Rosslyn Park. Now that was a team

Andy Ripley, Bob Mordell, John Scott, Phil Keith Roach, Peter Warfield etc etc

(I grew up watching that team, and then played U21 county Rugby, a bit for Quins and Park before Injury did for me)

(I was not a scrum half)

You never specified an amount, so I don't know how confident you are, so we have just had £10 EW @ 5/1, Wm Hill.

I loved Andy Ripley as a player. But as a back I would have to have a preference for Martin Offiah, in the brief time he was at Rosslyn Park.
