Ahh, the fleeting moment passed all too quickly.

You need to be very decisive with this greening thing, ditherage is no good.

You can set up a lay at 1.5 any time.  If you had done that you would have greened out on the way to 1.48.  Setting a lay at 1.5 regardless of how you view the match at the time has touches of cornetto about it.

Not trying to aftertime, but just an observation.  Surely one would be bonkers to back Berdych at 1.5 at 2-1 Murray in the 2nd set?  Murray had missed 7 bps up to that point, and is widely accepted as the superior player, so surely Berdych doesn't win 2 out of 3 from that point to make it a fair price?

By the way, when did tennis players start wearing garish Matalan style coloured apparel? Tennis players should wear White tops, white shorts, white socks, and white plimsolls.

Disgraceful.

It's been quite a while apparently - couldn't find a specific date but this quote from The Championships at WImbledon's wiki page is illuminasting in all sorts of ways..

all tennis players participating in the tournament are required to wear all-white or at least almost all-white clothing, a long-time tradition at Wimbledon. Wearing white clothing with some colour accents is also acceptable, provided the colour scheme is not that of an identifiable commercial brand logo. Controversy followed Martina Navratilova's wearing branding for "Kim" cigarettes in 1982

Wimbledon held out longer than other Championships so it seems to have been since the late 70s or thereabouts

Yes I remember some horrific "white" wimbledon numbers in the 90s.  Ivanisevic was a prime offender I remember.

11's was definitely best price this morning.

Antonio has always been good for a goal though and I view 11's as a good price. Also value when you release we go into 4-5-1/4-3-3 mode sometimes and he makes the 3 up. Also scored a few last season.

Agree each way no good, did not think it see anytime price. Prob would go £10 each bet.

Laying Pool at home is a blind bet for me. Everybody knows the price is too short, the only thing nobody can work out is why it is consistently too short.
Frankly I don't care.
Recommend laying £50 liability to win £81 on Betfair and £10 on Newcastle @ 97/18 with Pinnacle.
Pool win, we lose £60.
Draw, we win £71.
Newcastle win, we win £134.89.

Bugger, we only won £40 on the Pool match? So we only won £50 on the lay part?
That was my fault as I phrased it incorrectly. I'm still not sure actually the correct way to say it.
The price was 1.62 at the time and I intended for Fred to have a liability of £50 which would net £81.
I should have said lay £81, not lay £50, correct?

Daily Report as at 1.50pm, Monday November 5th

A small (£2.50) profit arose from the Tony Watt goalscorer bet, (Teacake) which was £10 EW. Actually.......when I checked my Account this morning, it had been listed as a loser. So I checked the Betslip (which was C & P onto the thread yesterday) & it appears that I mis-clicked, & just backed it as a "£10 Win". (Nobody noticed!). This was a palbable error by me, so as far as Fred is concerned, the intended bet stands.

Ha ha i was in such a rush yesterday I did exactly the same thing!

Profit is £6.67 btw, it was £10 ew 1/3 the odds @ 5/1, every penny counts Wink

They lost 3-0 to my team, Leeds, who are pretty poor. WBA 2-0 or 2-1 for me.

So PP have paid out on Obama but BBC is reporting that the election is nip and tuck.

Huh?

No, you almost certainly said the correct thing, I probably misinterpreted it.

Hi Aaron.

No, at 9am this morning, he was available at 12/1 in three spots.

He is now 12/1 with 4 firms.

For "Anytime" he is best priced 5/1, in two spots.

Ramirez is back after several weeks out which will be a boost to them. They'll play ultra tight i think to try to get that elusive point away from home.

Have WBA got enough about them to worry the defence.  Good home record although form not great with only 1 goal wins against Reading and QPR, and they've lost the last 2.

9/4 the draw for me or if brave 0-0 @ 14/1.
