Ooh, fancy that. Ralphy boy has arrived.

He must have been saving that clever little gif for a special occasion.

Play nicely boys.

Spurs -3 at 100-1 on betfair.

Snapped that bad boy up, just in case.

Over 5.5 goals is 1.75 on betfair.

Can you see fewer than two goals in this half?

I can't say that I blame you we are capable of absolutely anything.

I must say Jack looks up to match-speed for the first time today he makes a big difference.

Afternoon Mr T.

England v Australia. Much consternation over this match. With your weather report my gut feeling is low points and an England win but 25-1 the draw is value. Australia have recently drawn with NZ and beaten SA which is better form than England, but last weeks performance was dire and they can't score tries. Plus they have a fullback playing at fly half which is not good for scoring points.

I thought about going for under 38 points with Stan James @ 7/4 or the Draw/England double result at 25-1 but I have 2 other offers for you.

£5 Tuillagi first try scorer @ 12-1 with several sites, no value in any time scorer as I can't see more than 3 tries.

£20 a drop goal to be scored @ 3-1 Ladbroke's , the 2 other firms in this market are 2-1 and 13/8.

We shall proceed.

We don't plan to be betting much today, but let's have a little mini Banzai fun, which I can listen to whilst trundling up the M1.

We have Tuillagi, First Try scorer, £5 @ 12/1, Ladbrokes.

Drop Goal to be scored, £20 @ 3/1, Ladbrokes.

Huddlestone just isn't up to the task and hasn't looked the part since he came back. When we are a man light in the middle, it's asking too much.

It really is disappointing when we looked so threatening. Can't see Adebayor starting on his own ahead of Defoe for a while

Fred Weather

If anyone is considering bets on today's Rugby Union @ Twickers, it is currently tipping down with rain. Proper wet stuff, too.

A lot has been made of the England pack but the Aussies are big as well and the back row will be the key today; England have to control the breakdown in this weather and that is no mean feat. If 6/7/8/9 works this afternoon, I firmly believe England will win. Very big IF tho as we don't get it right often enough against the big three.

See what Fred's patissier thinks but I wonder whether in a low scoring game the draw at 25/1 with PP and others isn't banzaiable. Australia 3/1 looks big to me, too, considering it's the higher ranked team and England is far from the finished product.

Thoughtaments?

Our first ever sympathy bet, not a bad use of a fiver. Poor Tal is looking at a 5 or 6-1 defeat for Spurs @ Arsenal, so this is to give him a little comfort.

£5 @ 25/1, William Hill, Draw, England v Australia.

Says more about your boys that you didn't score 7 today but it had the potential to be a great game of football had it not been for a moment of mentalism from Adebayor.

See you back at the Lane.
