Horse looks a shitbag to me. Surprised the price held up as well as it did tbh. No bet at that price obv.

3.10?

Was awful!

U tell him.

Clearly an amateur tipster.

Not a tip!

charlton 7/4 (skybet), 15/8 (betvictor) to beat brighton (£20)

charlton 1-0 brighton 8/1 coral (£5)

we have a lot of players out injured

Bridge (if he plays he is unfit)
Painter
Bruno (if he plays he is unfit)
El Abd (if he plays he is unfit)
Orlandi
Vicente
Dunk

Valley will be buzzing as its their 20th birthday back at the valley too.

Charlton a very poor oufit. Played off the park by Posh last week according to my sources and scored with their only two efforts on goal. Nico will confirm.

Confirmed.

Sir G of B gives his views on the day so far:

"This is a beautiful day for batting. We could still be batting, not just tomorrow, but the day after. If England bat sensibly they will pass India's score by lunchtime tomorrow and be 100 ahead at tea. There's loads of time and India are very good at helping our bowlers by making mistakes. This is rare for a team to come here and outplay India. You have to enjoy it."

Cook just 20 away at tea from a 23rd century. Compton playing the role of able assistant.

It's like we have remembered we were the best Test team in the world not too long ago.

Lovely.

At close of India's innings, Monty & Jimmy had taken three wickets EACH, so I'm still not sure if Hector's bet would have won. For his sake, I hope it did.

If you have not yet guessed, I felt pretty silly missing the bet because of ditherage.

Standard.

I think we probably will get the extra on Oakland @10/11 +10.5. I´d be surprised if it moves out any further than that though. Best to let Neil and Bobby decide how much more we have on.

At present, the best offer is +10.5 @ 5/6.

I'll take £30 of 5/6 for now, & maybe we will put some more on later if we can get 10/11.

Done.

£30 @ 5/6, Blue Square, Raiders (+10.5) over Broncos, down to Kuku.

So we now have £22 @ 10/11, & £30 @ 5/6, both at +10.5.

We may put more on later if the Lads agree.

Hi Tony,

My apologies, I worded that badly what I meant was that I anticipate the line being available @10/11 +10.5 and if it does move there then we should get on at that stage but for now we can probably hold fire.

No real harm done, only a tiny bit of lost equity.

Extraodinary achievement from Cook, a very special cricketer, his record is quite remarkable.

Another very good day for England in the cricket

Cook broke the English record for Test Centuries

Once again India have been comprehensively out-bowled and out-batted so far, which is a remarkable turn-around from the first test

Oddschecker is currently down but I assume England are odds on to win this from 2-1+ yesterday.

Morning chaps.  A couple for discussion for the weekend:

Brentford v MK Dons.  I was expecting this to be a pick em affair, but I see Brentford are underdogs at home.  Prices around the 2/1 mark look generous to me considering they beat Sheff Utd at home recently and seem more consistent.  MKD have my respect but I don't think they should be as favoured as they are here at Griffin Park.

Also - I can't be having Forest at evens against a team as solid as Sean Dyche's Burnley.  Forest have had some abysmal performances this season at home and I don't rate O'Driscoll at all.  Think this would be one where I would be looking to lay the hosts rather than pile into the away team though.

Thoughts on the above?

Nothing to bet tonight, but Bwin releases all their lines 2-3 days in advance and I think we should be on one.

OKC Thunder -6 vs LA Lakers

Thunder are in very good form at the minute on a 6 game winning streak and are 15-4 in the season (9-2 at home) Whereas the Lakers are misfiring and really struggling to get any sort of momentum in the league 9-10 in the season (2-5 on the road)

Last season the Thunder beat the Lakers 6-2 and won 4/4 at home, the only games the Lakers won were one by 3 points and one in overtime both at staples centre.

I think this is such a good line its too good to pass up and wait for other books to release theirs tomorrow as I expect them to have Thunder as bigger favourites.

Lakers defence has been woeful and non existant at times and Thunder are #1 in points scored so far this season, i believe they just have too much in the locker for the Lakers to cope with.

Suggest £110 with Bwin Oklahoma City Thunder -6
