I have spent much of today amusing myself thinking about last nights corners bet. For those that didn't see the game I had bet on under 10 corners in the match. After  15 minutes of the 2nd half there had already been 9, however there were no further corners so the bet won. I felt suitably lucky. But it got me thinking. If the first 30 minutes had yielded no corners but there were nine in the next 60 minutes then the result would be the same but I would feel that I was  almost unlucky. Had there been a steady trickle of corners throughout the game with the 9th in injury time then I would have felt like a real shrewd judge. Just shows that I am probably just a luckbox.

I also notice last night that Aaron has joined my " posse ". Any more and I am going to need to get me a 2nd horse from the horse shop.

Good luck tonight Mr Tightend, 3 threads all with the same tip. That is some pressure game there.

Go on Kuku, open that debate up again!

Seriously, I've not forgotten that thing, I'm really interested to see how it pans out, & what others think.

Good luck with it, come what may.

All of us are just luck boxes in the short term really, the edge that we have, if we do have an edge at all is very very small and will only be realised in the long term.

Brilliant to see the spring onions making an appearance.

Any game/sport is full of these things.

Does anyone know what a golden ferret is?

For more advanced/ridiculous league structure the college American football system is something to behold. It is in a constant state of flux due to mainly monetary concerns in what is supposed to be an amateur sport.

I am Kuku, that game against San Fran next week is going to be huge if this weeks game go as expected,  at this stage of the season there are usually a few play off/seeding busting results somewhere aren't there. It was a pity for your Seattle bet that Green Bay got out of the hole they were in and a few of the other teams around them got comeback wins too.

It is a golfing term, where you hit the ball into the hole directly from the bunker.

Defeat for GB would have been huge, their game at Chicago is a real cracker now and @ Minnesota won´t be easy. I think NYG will really struggle at Baltimore and to a lesser extent at Atlanta. I still kinda like the 2 seed for Seattle.

Atlanta really seemed to have stalled now don't they too, it's a pity they have so many wins on the board. the running game looks bad, Ryan has had a few mares and Julio still looks about 3/4 fit.

Wow.

I'd be quite happy to lose a score if you can get that one home. Underdogs at home, tried and tested!

You don't need to get many of those right to show a profit.
