That earlier picture of the North London derby game, was it by any chance the one where Arsenal secured the 1970/71 double with a goal scored by Ray Kennedy?

I paid a rather over the top £25 for a seat behind a big pole for that match if that was it.

Goal average was the means of calculating the winner of the league if the points were level in those days and after we took the lead had those feelthy spuds have equalised we'd have lost the title to dirty Leeds even had we scored a winner after that to win 2-1.

Ah, was worth a question, I thought.

One thing that connects Spurs and Arsenal is terrible, terrible hair.

Chamakh, Sagna and Gervinho v Huddlestone, Sandro and Assou-Ekotto.

They look like the bottom of the wig box in a local Am Dram.

I could swear at one point in extra time Wilshere reached the by line looked up, saw Gervinho and Chamakh waiting and decided the correct option was to play for the corner

Chamberlain and Wilshere's pens were good tho. Bodes well for England. Assuming they're getting first team action at whichever club they've been sold to, that is.

Chelsea go odds-on for Capital One Cup without playing.

 4/5 Chelsea,

4/1 Villa,

9/2 Swansea,

16/1 Leeds,

18/1 Mboro,

 20/1 Bradford

Is there a play here on someone apart from Chelsea.....?

i.e one of Villa and Swansea/Middlesboro can't play them in the semi's assuming Chelsea get there

so e/w?

In a weird way, it would be rather nice if Leeds could make a run at it.

Only one club that doesn't need the money.

I might be posting alot betting against the LA Lakers in the next few days too, they are all over the place and its a decent time to pound on whoever they are playing they travel to Cleveland tomorrow so hopefully we will get a decent line.

OK, so here goes. (Fred loves home underdogs right? Smiley )

Lakers travel to Cleveland tonight to face a Cavs team who has been without their star player (Kyrie Irving) for a few weeks now and have been getting pounded day in day out. Kyrie has been cleared to return to the teams starting line up tonight and I expect it to be a buzzing atmosphere. Irving and Varejao play great together and not so well without one another, Varejao will be able to compete with Dwight Howard for every rebound and may even win the battle of the rebounds which could be crucial in this game.

Lakers have been lolbad recently and just show no togetherness and no will to fight for the cause. Now seems like a really good time to back what will be a buoyant Cavaliers team very pleased to have Irving back playing.

Im in for 3 units on Cavaliers +6.5.

Ive also had a little fruity 0.5unit punt on the Cavaliers to win outright @ 3.52 on Pinny for those degens out there that fancy a punt.

Cavs +6.5 for Fred though. GL

This is most likely a dumb question but here goes anyway...
After reading most, actually, nowhere near most, of the thread at different times of the year, I've seen it mentioned that Fred is sometimes limited with certain bookies, can't you put them off your trail by betting on one site that you want to stay in the good books of and laying on betfair at the same price. Like for example Real Madrid at 1.4 on pp lay same price on betfair.
Can't you 'try to lose' some of these on the bookies that limit?
Await being mocked lol
