Loftus Road actually was one of the most modern grounds in football back in the early 80s, as it had undergone refurb in the 70s. Sadly it's now just a blue rectangle made of corrugated iron. Yes, it's a tight ground with a great atmosphere (against a big team) but the seats have legroom that even oompa-loompas would complain about.

That doesn't look like a spectacular arse to me. For that reason, I'm not backing her.

I'm old and married tho Scotty.

Mr Tightend. I know your tip for Chelsea to lose tonight got little warmth but how about proposing a lay of Chelsea for the whole thing- they seem to be odds on for that with 3 games to play ?

my post did say Leeds at 7/2 or lay Chelsea for tonight

I am on Swansea for the whole thing before they beat Middlesborough, when Chelsea were Evens

I can't have Chelsea odds-on for the whole thing at this stage. Yes they are the classiest team left, but (and this is the crux of my argument really) the Chelsea squad doesn't rotate well (key players like Mata and Hazard have played a lot more games this season than key players in other leading teams) and I can't see some of the newer players being that motivated by the good old "Milk" Cup

Set against that, we can assume a Falcao and others from overseas leagues will be in come January and eligible for a semi etc etc

Morning Mr T.

T20 cricket starts tomorrow. After backing Australia to win the 6's market in the world cup I paid particular attention to how all the sides did. I was very close to choosing India instead of Australia because they played Afghanistan and I thought there would be a shed load of 6's for India. Well India were awful in this market finishing last of all the big nations.

Whilst the IPL is the best tournament the fireworks are not provided by Indian cricketers, the top 4 6 hitters were all foreign and Kevin Pietersen scored more 6's than any Indian and he only played 8 games. In addition, I watched a lot of the IPL and the standard of Indian bowlers was dreadful, particularly in the final 4 overs.

England played India in the world cup. India bated first scoring 180 ish with only 1 six. England were bowled out for 80 but scored 3 6's. Yes it is a tiny sample. What I want from a team to score 6's is a bunch of large, aggressive people with a big bat. And to be honest with you Mr T the Indians are teeny tiny.

I would make India slight favourites to win the match but I would make England decent favourites to hit more 6's. I still can't find a price for the series so we will have to just go with the first match.

Suggest England to score most 6's in the 1st T20  £20  @ 11/8 Bluesquare.

Afternoon h.

Thanks.

I've been AWOL this morning, & I have missed all the 11/8. Betfair are a tad better than 5/4,. but no money on the Market, & comm, of course, so we went with Blue Sq @ 5/4.

£20 @ 5/4, Blue Square, 1st T20, England Most Sixes.

For those interested, there IS a slightly better price available.

A Gent came on here a week or so ago - my apologies, his name escapes me - & he mentioned a company called "CricketBetLive".

They currently offer this market (1st T20 only) at 2.45.

I would have used them, but they require ID when you sign up, & I just don't have time to sort that today. Looks a good site, as the chap said, though.

Daily Report as at 1750, Wednesday 19th December

We lost £44 yesterday.

One bet, one loser, that's it. We lost our cash with the utmost efficiency, 100%.

We had an NBA bet, Cavs to win, -4.5, after a bit of a debate about whether we should get on at -4.5 having missed -4.  We lost by 14.

Tonight, we only seem to have one interest so far, being Pipe in the PDS Darts, he plays his match first up at 7.10pm.

Think Leeds are getting to a backable price now or alternatively Chelsea becoming a layable price anyway.  Think I prefer just backing Leeds though at 5.2ish on BF

What sort of stake did you have in mind, reds? Something small, as it is a bit nip & tuck?
