Anyone know who Jerome Boger is?
Well played Tighty (he must know). This man is going to be the lead referee in the Super Bowl.
The average number of points in NFL games this year was 45.7.
The average number of points in games where Jerome Boger's team officiated was 41.3 (second lowest in league from 17 teams of officials).
The average total (closing line on the total) in games officiated by Jerome Boger's crew was 45.2.
The reason the scores were lower in his games was because he called more offensive holding penalties than most of the other referees. Sometimes a lineman would get multiple penalties in situations where another referee would do nothing.
Obviously Mr Boger will be working with a different bunch of guys to usual.
If I was leaning towards the under this would definitely help to sway me.
Are there other ways this information can be used that I haven't thought of?
Appreciate any help.

Blimey, how do you find these things?
Aside from the obvious (Unders), I'm sure there will be a raft of Sub-Markets nearer the day, & maybe this will prove useful in one or two of them.
I spied one yesterday whilst I was perusing the Superbowl Markets (I live in hope of finding one of these mispriced subs), & espied "Wardrobe Malfunction"
I clicked the link, & it is described as "Beyonce Nip Slip during Half Time Show". Bra-vo.
No idea if there is any nip-slip recency.

When it comes to half time, the best thing will be the adverts that shortly make it to YouTube. My favourite from last year:

Daily Report as @ 0820, Sunday January 27th
A small profit ensued yesterday of £16.
Not quite as bad as it sounds on the day, as we had to absorb an aged bet which matured unsuccessfully yesterday & cost us £30.
The numbers do not include the settlement of the bets on the India England ODI series, where we face up to £70 of loss, but technically one of the bets remains in play. We will take those losses collectively tomorrow, so we start today £70 in debt.
Our
losses
yesterday were....
Norwich - Luton Goal scorer markets. Norwich failed to score, so they all went south for -£30.
Coventry, -£20
Barnsley draw saver -£10
Fulham to beat Man U. Bit of a misread as it turned out, & we knew our fate within the first minute. -£10.
DoI, Samia Ghadie, -£30.
Winners....
Barnsley, which was another great spot by Tighty, +£100. (£90 if we net off the £10 saver on the draw).
Sprinter Sacre, +£10, down to Doobs. One of those genuine "never in doubt" jobs, what a pleasure that was to watch.
Watford Over 2.5 goals, nice one Mr Sparrow, who gave two alternatives on the same match, & all three won! +£16.
Today, Liverpool face Oldham in the FA Cup, we are on Liverpool to win the Cup at 11/1.
At 8.30 this morning, & controversially, we are on Sir Andy Murray to win the Aussie Open.
We may have a wager on the Unders in tonight's Pro Bowl.
Fred has still not indulged in any Greening of the 49-ers position, where we stand to collect over £1,600 if they win, & lose £250 of it goes wrong.
The 49ers are generally a 4/7 shot, & the points line sits at -3.5, except for Wm Hill who go -4.

I have yet to experience watching a Superbowl, never mind one where so much money may accrue to Fred in what will be, whatever happens (greenage excepted), our biggest ever win or loss.
I may not be able to watch it from the comfort of home, either, as I'm hoping to play the DTD £300 next weekend, & the Final will be in play during the Superbowl, so I'm only a shade above Evens to be home.

http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/oklahoma-city-thunder-at-los-angeles-lakers/point-spread
OKC travel to LA to face the Lakers for the third time this season. The previous 2 games have ended in OKC victories 114-108 (in OKC) and 116-101 (in LA) since then OKC have charged to the #1 spot in the NBA boasting a 34-10 record including a 15-7 road record.
They have the perfect combination of blistering offence with solid defence. They are #1 in points scored so far this season whereas Lakers are 26th in points allowed. Kevin Durant has also been on a charge of late averaging 34 points in the last 10 games and is now the leading scoring in the league, averaging 29.5 points a game over the season. In the 2 previous meetings vs the Lakers he has had 42 and 36 points, the Lakers defence just cannot handle him.
Lakers won their last game vs the Jazz and looked a better team than they had the previous 4 games where they got smashed by some pretty lowly teams. I think the market has overestimated the significance of this performance and -3 OKC is just an absurd line imo. OKC are just so much better at both ends of the floor and they don't let HCA become as much of a factor as it should/could be. Lakers are only 13-10 at home so they haven't even been dominating on their own floor.
No new injuries to report since the last time these 2 teams met, although Dwight Howard was taken from the game 2 games ago due to an ongoing shoulder injury so he is not 100%.
I bet v big for me on this game, suggest £55 OKC -3 (paddypower/ladbrokes)
Game is live on skysports at 8.30pm after Heat @ Celtics at 6pm also on skysports.

Thanks Tom.
Logic suggests all those impressive OKC stats should be in the price, but -3 does look generous.
It seems almost too good to be true, & that usually means it is, so I've trimmed our investment to £33.
I shall enjoy watching that tonight, it will be my first full NBA game.
We have £33 @ 10/11, Blue Square, OKC to beat the Lakers, -3.

Market has overvalued the Lakers all season and haven't adjusted to how bad they actually are/have been. They are 17-26 against the spread this year whereas OKC are 26-17 suggesting that they have undervalued how good OKC are.
Its not just a stats thing, I've watched both these teams numerous times this season (I'm a big fan of Dwight Howard) including both games they have already played and Lakers have been totally outclassed in both games.
It should be a good game anyway, i hope you enjoy it in a visual sense and a monetary sense.

This probably makes me rather sad, but I've booked the Monday off work so that I can stay up and watch the Superbowl. Not sure I'll be at DTD to watch it (even if I played the 300, which is unlikely, day 2 is one of those things you believe exist because other people have told you it does). Might be better to have a comfy sofa, an endless supply of tea and perhaps the odd biscuit.

I don't have any tennis knowledge, but the first set of the Tennis is nip & tuck, & it does not look like 4/6 v 6/4.
Incredible rallies so far, but no service breaks.

Well, they are close, but it is a two horse race, Djok has the last two Aussie Opens in his cabinet and he is the higher ranked player.

Bell has played himself in in the non-tennis thing in India. 34 off 60. Cook and KP have gone relatively cheaply, so he has an outside chance of getting there.
Needs to bat through for England to fancy the win.
