Bell has played himself in in the non-tennis thing in India. 34 off 60. Cook and KP have gone relatively cheaply, so he has an outside chance of getting there.

Needs to bat through for England to fancy the win.

How many behind was Bell prior to today?

I was - am really - assuming the bet was dead.

As of this moment

Cook 207
Pietersen 185
Bell 157
Root 133

He needs 51 more from here

Has batted slowly, to set up a big one. Lets hope!

I think 87 is the required figure, therefore

Thanks Rich. There is still a pulse, just.

I notice Tredders took 2 more wickets today, what a bad miss that was by me, gherkin stuck him up at 6/1 I think.

In my defence, gherkhin was a newbie to me at the time, and I did not realise his cricket expertise.

He needs 51 more runs unless Root stays with him.
Good spot with Tredwell from Gurkhin, he took the most Wickets with 4 to spare.

Deffo, as to gherkin.

Won't make that mistake again, but it's all a learning curve.

Perfect tiebreak that

Murray goes 8/11 favourite

(each time these guys have played in a slam, the winner has won the first set)

(I still fancy Djok to win it, but I am a tennis ice cream)

Oooh, Sir Andy wins the first set.

Prior to the tie-break, it was very close.
