This is the current standing in Championship...

19th Huddersfield - 36pts
20th Bolton - 34 pts
21st Barnsley - 34 pts
----------------------------
22nd Wolves - 33 pts
23rd P'boro - 28 pts
24th Bristol City - 28 pts

Thats not the right league table Aaron as Barnsley still in the zone on 31pts and Wolves have 33pts and are out the zone with Bolton 34pts Ipswich 35..
Just for the record I wasnt digging Aaron out but pointing out that we should be in posession of the cirrect stats before recommending a bet.
Fwiw I like the price fred has backed at.

Understood, Rich, you were correct to point out the error.

I wonder, if you get a moment, if you could Update us how how our "Walsall to be Relegated" bet is going?

No rush, obv.

I certainly am watching Dr Noh closely as he was 3-1 in the top dog eater market. I didn't put him up on here as he was delayed in his travel plans last week which concerned me a bit but had to show him some support myself.

He is 1 under after 12 today, & going along nicely.

http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/season=2013/tournamentid=2013009/leaderboard/index.html

I had a £10 dabble @ 50/1 EW (unlikely now, but still possible, they pay 5 places) & £40 @ 11/4, Top Asian, where I think he is in with a shout, but I can't actually tell from the Leaderboard who he is up against, as I'm useless with flags!

Good luck us.

Was looking to hedge the SF bet slightly on the handicap to keep a tasty looking "double win" for a small SF victory.  However on chatting to a mate he pointed out that if SF win they tend to win fairly big and so playing it that way is probably a bit of a waste.

Will be covering a bit with Ladbrokes @ 2.7 then and still cheering the 49ers massively!  GL everyone.

The Superbowl Greening Affair.....

We are in a lovely position here, but it has caused me some head-scratching as to how to handle this.

Previously, the Bet Owner has held the right to decide whether we Green.

It has been well-argued by Elders, though, that a green could or should be treated as a seperate bet.

In this case, it is further complicated by the fact that Camel has decided that Fred should do whatever it wishes.

So......

I think the right course of action here is that Camel's Bet stands alone, as it is, & is not greened. He gets credited with the entire profit, or entire loss. Keith can say if he disagrees, but it feels right.

Fred WILL take some insurance, though, & that bet will be down to me, win or lose.

That seems the fairest solution.

My Bet will follow shortly, but it is NOT a "Recommend", merely some husbandry which I think is right for Fred.

I genuinely hope my bet loses.

I thought long & hard about doing that, but eventualy decided to keep it simple.

I've probably left some value behind, but never mind.

Mr T if you let your arrow cursor thingy hover on the flag then it should tell you the country that it is. I am going to assume you know the location of the countries.

Bolton have a game in hand, at home to the mighty Posh in a couple of Tuesdays, and really should get out of it with their squad. However, 33/1 is a big enough price given their proximity and how competitive it is down there.

Gl to all those on SF and in the Super Bowl (two words ta).

Really?

Super        Bowl?

I never realised that. I do now.

Good spot Fen Man. Or Fenman.

It is two words, but accepting that any sporting event could have the qualifier "super" (let alone followed by the noun "bowl") is too much for me to take.

Ahh, the little arrow cursor thingy trick, thanks.

We are in OK shape then, just Mr Singh, who is one shot behind us I think.

Go Noh.

Yeah, you tell Fenman Tal.

Can't believe a Fenman is giving us grammer lessons. The very cheek of it.

Think 'Fenman' should be one word.

Wisbech Town are aka as the Fenmen, not the Fen Men. They used to be our feeder club at one time, sort of.

We got the awesome Jackie Gallagher, aka 'Six Toes' (two words) from them.

Ha well funny you should mention that as they are nearly if not already mathematically certain of staying up and are only 4pts off the play offs which kind of sums up the year so far on my selections Sad

I blame Camels mate the "Walsall" fan for re-inforcing the selection Wink

The Super Bowl green.

I have this morning, for Fred, LAID San Francisco for £500 @ 1.58.

This is down to me for the purposes of Fred.

LAY San Francisco, £500 @ 1.58, Betfair.

This gives Fred a small profit if Baltimore win, & a huge profit if the 9ers win.

It actually exceeds our Max Bet size, too, but I think this is a special circumstance.
