Benitez is 11/10 to be next PL manager to go
Isn't the right price odds on?
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/next-manager-to-leave-post
Lerner to sack Lambert?...well he appears the patient sort and he's tight...doesn't want to pay anyone off really
Jol? maybe
Can't see anyone else likely (though of course its football, you never know)
Roman could tire of Rafa's lack of short term results at any time
no views on this?
tell me its completely daft, no value at all..I don't mind

One for the football lads, Rich.
His position must be tenuous, at best.

Read it yesterday and wasn't convinced, think they'll just stick it out with him and do enough to take 3rd.

Billy Davies will be announced this afternoon, apparently, returning to Forest.
Cancel that beer.

If ChipPrince's Darts Recommend happened to appear here, we'd get on.......
I have had the bet already, but I will leave it in my off-thread account if the suggestion does not materialise.

I believe you asked him, & he agreed, so yes, you may proceed......
I really like the bet, & more especially, the workings behind it. Love to see the logic behind bets researched, even if sample size generally invalidates much of it.

FWIW, Only thought is that Roman swam against the tide of fan feeling with this appt, I suspect he may tough it out for rest of season, hoping for the best, and then ditch him while everyone away on their hols, as quietly as is poss, these days

ChipPrince
So,
In last years Prem League, with the 7 players who are in this years (Not inc VG, Newton & Thornton) there was:
Legs: 1210
180's: 321
So the average was a 1 player hitting a 180 every 3.77 legs he played
With 2 players in each leg there was a 180 every 1.89 legs.
In this years World Champs the 10 players played:
Legs: 1051
180's: 264
So the average was a 1 player hitting a 180 every 3.98 legs he played
With 2 players in each leg there was a 180 every 1.99 legs.
So basically a 180 every other leg.
In the Prem League tonight there are 5 fixtures, each can have a maximum of 12 legs, or the min would be 5x 7-0.
So:
MAX LEGS POSSIBLE: 60
MIN LEGS POSSIBLE: 35
Basing the World aves on the max number of legs possible we would see 30 180's, but realistically we will see around 52-54 legs, assuming each game is likely to be 7-4, 7-5, 6-6 etc.
50 LEGS EXPECTS 25 180's
52 LEGS EXPECTS 26 180'S etc etc
Based on this I've had a pretty chunky week 1 bet on:
Under 30.5 180's @ 10/11
GL all.

Love it!
Thanks Dwayne, & to Tighty for the nudge.
We have £55 @ 10/11, Betfred, UNDER 30.5 x 180's in Week One (tonight) of the Premier League.
The bet is owned by TheChipPrince.

I would say it is more likely they show him the door at the end of the season after limping to 4th?
For me "no manager to leave" is better value at 4? Also, does Hughton really have enough credit in the bank to be out at 50-1? I remember we were musing about 8-1 for Norwich to go down a week ago - I imagine if they had a bad run of 4/5 losses in a row the board might get itchy fingers about preserving Premiership status. Unlikely scenario I appreciate.

The Ireland v England game in the 6N on Sunday will be really tight
Should be less than a score either way at the end
Ireland have home advantage, a kicker who will pot them from anywhere in the oppo's half, plenty of flair in the backs and a strong pack
England are in form, have a kicker who will pot them from anywhere in the oppo's half, and a strong pack. Less flair out the back, probably
It is really close
http://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-union/six-nations/ireland-v-england/handicaps
Would like to recommend £3 the draw at 20-1. Feel that will be a possibility quite a long way through the match, and for little money you'll get the sweat...
This is not a recommend, but the likelihood of a Sin bin/yellow card is as close to a certainty as you can get, yet you can get 1/2.
http://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-union/six-nations/ireland-v-england/will-there-be-a-sin-binning
In a close one, with the breakdowns fiercely contested, with Ireland in particular cynical, there will be a yellow or two
---
elsewhere Wales have picked the right team
, on form! Tipuric comes into the back row, Hibbard in at hooker
I can't back them in Paris against the French who have to turn in a performance though
--
Scotland v Italy
Can't back Scotland at Odds-on. Unconvinced Italy will travel well either
No bets in the other two games for me
Jamie fkn Roberts. Hope he proves me wrong, but man what a waste of a place the last half a dozen games.
