silvinianco conti again brushed them all aside giving weight as well to tgb, cant see the giant bolster beating it anywhere soon.
the giant bolster is a terrible jumper compared to conti, at that level you cant afford jumping errors .
anyone with ante post bets at nice prices must be well happy after that
On that form today Conti deserves to be favourite for the Gold Cup imo. On a strict line through The Giant Bolster that would have won last years Gold Cup. I reralise that might not have been a vintage renewal and it might take more this year but 6-1 seems fair to me.

Also a generally good rule of thumb when you look at odds comparison sites is to look at the firms that are offering the prices and, in the case of SC, it is Stan James, Boyles and Betfred that are 6/1. Ladbrokes are 4/1 and Corals, Hills and 365 are 5/1. Whose odds compilers would you back in that heat?

An artyish one, if the mood takes you.
It would happen to be the Grammys tomorrow night and the night when those folks across the pond pat themselves on the back and pretend they're the best nation on Earth. This year there has been an increase in the British invasion and Adele will likely have an extra trophy for her cabinet with Performance of the Year.
I'm proposing one non-Brit tho.
Frank Ocean is regarded by the arty sorts as something pretty special and a gifted, soulful sort. He has the misfortune of being up against artists in their nut categories, where you can see him not getting anything. There is one exception, however, where he is only a small dog: Best New Artist.
fun. (Note the spelling) are slight favourites at 11/8 with Mr Ocean at 13/8.
The winners are decided by a huge ballot of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences members and few would argue Frank Ocean deserves a gong this year. It is hard to pick him above any of the others and I suspect this is one of those situations where he gets the nod because enough voters think he should get something on the night.
In isolation, there's nothing to suggest the market is wrong, but I believe there's something to be said for the theory that the voters want to reward a big year for a very cool choice in Frank Ocean in a category against a very poppy band like fun..
fun. will pick up awards elsewhere on the night and are bigger favourites in other categories.
Recommend a drop on Frank Ocean at 13/8 with Ladbrokes.
Any relation to Billy (i'll show my age)

Ha!
No.
Would be a great story if he were the lovechild of Billy and the Caribbean Queen. Alas, no.
He used to write songs for a lot of artists but has come through in the last 12 months or so. BBC had him as one of the sounds of 2012. He has been promoted heavily by Jay-Z and Kanye West amongst others, is one of the first black musicians in the hip-hop world to come out and his popularity seems to go from strength to strength.

I personally am all against SC. I think he looks a "thin" horse, literally, and wont be robust enough for a GC. As I said he didnt touch a twig, by which I mean, he made no mistakes, yes a good thing, but highly unlikely every time he runs. Yet even foot perfect looked all out to me, and with the GC being a sterner test of stamina and several stronger challengers, I think he is getable.
Anyway, I mentioned a while back that I felt Ladbrokes were either very strong or very weak in terms of their books on big races, and I now think they are just making too many mistakes.
Take the TfT Ante Post Yankee I suggested
B Bob 10-1
Sir DC 7-1
Rock on R 10-1
Champ C 10-1
The first three were all stand out with Ladbrokes as too big, last one was same everywhere.
It has been the same last few weeks, but this is only week I recorded details.
Ladbrokes: Shortest Price - 1.15 Leopardstown, Diakali. 1.50 Leopardstown, Knock A Hand. 2.15 Leopardstown, Waaheb & Legal Exit. 2.45 Leopardstown, Lord Windermere. 3.20 Leopardstown, Flemenstar. 3.35 Newbury, My Tent Or Yours & Ronaldo Des Mottes.
Ladbrokes: Biggest price - 1.15 Leopardstown, Our Conor, Ruacana, Dalasiri. 1.50 Newbury, Captain Sunshine. 2.15 Leopardstown, Champagne Fever. 2.45 Leopardstown, Boston Bob.
Bar MTOY, the shorties lost and plenty of the longest won.
Ive only been keeping tabs for a few weeks but the magic sign seem to have some poor form judges in their trading Dept.

I think Snedeker is a good pick for The Masters but this is the nut worst moment to be getting on with him leading this week's tournament imo. Surely he'll be at least 33/1 again in a week or so when someone else is in the limelight.
I always try and stick to my grandfather's (who was a market trader) golden rule "buy straw hats in the winter" if at all possible.

Afternoon Mr T.
The Welsh game later today should be an open game with the pressure on both teams to win and both will believe that running the ball is their best option. By far the best chance of Wales scoring are their wings who are big and fast as opposed to their centres who are just big.
Suggest Cuthbert as anytime scorer £10 @ 3-1 Blue Square.
Spin-up time!
Be great to get two of these up, same day, but we are guaranteed a profit on the two anyway, so we must go for it.
Good luck.
We have £10 @ 3/1, Blue Square, Cuthbert to score ANYTIME, France v Wales.

If he wins The AT&T the way it looks could see him go short as 16s. I cant see that big a drift and he is soooo steady at the mo. If the wheels fall off that much in the interim, he probably a dead bet, so probably now is the time, but love the golden rule!

How bad were France in the rugby?
Blimey moses, such talented backs but such appalling team selection and coaching.
Michalak must have incriminating photos on Serge Blanco or something.

Agree. Was a rotten pitch and a bit chilly for Les Grenouilles.
Am I right in saying if England win tomorrow, they could lose to France and still win it?

Wales in Cardiff will be tough for England, Fred´s Ireland bet looks very good imo.

I agree in general with this approach but that price hasn't been adjusted so think it is just a bit stale given his form. I actually backed him at 40/1 last week in similar circumstances and that went. Unless he plays very badly in next few weeks I would be surprised if we see 33/1 again but I hope we do as I haven't got quite enough on yet.

Tighty, I know you fancy a close game, so is a drop goal at 13/8 worthy of consideration? I have a slight concern that it isn't something England use a lot, which suggests you're really betting on Ireland doing it and that, ergo, the price isn't very attractive.
Rather than backing England at even money, is asking Ray Winston nicely and playing England -1.5 at 11/10 a better price?
