Well known names from the poker community who plied their trade at those early Dundee Gala festivals included Roy 'the boy' Brindley, Keith 'the camel' Hawkins, Richard Ashby, Simon Trumper and Xuyen Pham.

Think I went to two festivals there. One of my friends had a spare place in the bed of one of the dealers so he was always eager to go there, there was no way I was going to drive all that way!

Cash games were incredible.

Tournaments good too.

yes that's the old ground. A famous sloper that got muddy from September onwards

All I hear is that the Westley project at PNE is on its last legs. I think TheChipPrince who knows this division well was intimating as much to me recently

Horspeplayer said though when the subject came up that he had heard that a lot of those resisting Westley's change had gone, and wouldn't be surprised to see a turn soon


I don't know which is more accurate, but to my mind there is nothing in results or reading fan/press opinion to go bullish on them yet

I would have thought Yeovil would be shorter. Not a nice place to go on a Tuesday night, either, having done it in winter (exposed ground, long journey for Preston) 

Yeah it isn't a league i bet on huge amounts and definitely don't have a lot of insight but the price seems structurally wrong to me and I do like betting the teams at the extremities of the country at home in midweek games especially in the depths of winter.  A five hour coach trip down the M6 and M5 having won one of your last ten and not really getting on with the gaffer doesn't really scream out foundations for a turnaround to me!!!!

When Hills and Ladbrokes offer prices on the afternoons racings the evening before, are these prices available in the shops?

Lads will restrict you to not much if they are the biggest price, otherwise they'll take a bit. Don't know about Hills.

By my reckoning we have 6 changes from the starting 11 v Cardiff.

Looks like a game nobody wants to win, but our changes are forced. Lillis is up for it as its likely his last game in charge.

Apparently we are getting Robins in from Coventry, already cleared his desk acc twitter but Coventry haven't given us permission to speak to him !

tbf Leicester have actually drifted since that team news got released! Not sure it's a team news move given Leicester are playing stronger than expected and Huddersfield slightly weaker. I'm prob. just overrating Leicester and underrating Huddersfield.
