No prob.

Hope you all got the lot.

Wish I'd have gone for a nice stroll now.

Just FYI there was a non-runner in the Towcester race (there were 3 actually but one that mattered). You'll have a rule 4 because Oyster Shell didn't go. Didn't see the price (maybe 10/1) so it could be 10p.

The 1st one seemed to get slightly outpaced three out, I thought it was fading out of the frame, and then it really stayed on. Pity he couldn't have had it closer at the 2nd last.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/spain/la-liga-primera/atletico-madrid-v-espanyol/correct-score

i like the look for some dutching here tonight in this six pm kick off

some background stats

espanyol have won 5 of there last 7 since the new manager has come in

atheltico madrid have won 13 straight at home in the league

espanyol are traditionally awful away always have been and have just two away wins in there last 21 away games (one of which was a 4-0 freak hammering of the awful bilbao last time)

the last five home games for madrid read as follows :

Atlético Madrid
6 - 0
Deportivo
Atlético Madrid
1 - 0
Celta de Vigo
Atlético Madrid
2 - 0
Real Zaragoza
Atlético Madrid
2 - 0
Levante
Atlético Madrid
1 - 0
Real Betis

slight pattern there Smiley

My first instinct was to look at the madrid to win to nil market were bluesq are a standout 11-8 price (would not put anybody of this if feeling nitty)

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/spain/la-liga-primera/atletico-madrid-v-espanyol/to-win-to-nil

However a bit of working around with the correct score market means you can back the 1-0,2-0 and 3-0 dutched at 9-5 (or as close to) with vcbet who go
13-2,13-2 and 10-1 respectively

Obviously we dont get the extra protection of 4-0 up but we do get a couple of ticks better on the price and with espanyol confident i dont expect a thrashing here.

The vc prices are overall a smidgen better than betfair will probably end up at and of course no commission.

Suggest £7.46 on both 1-0 and 2-0 with vc bet and £5.08 on 3-0 with vcbet

returns for £20 if any of the 3 win £55.93

There you go Mr T. I definitely saw signs of tumescence as he jogged back to the halfway line.

Don't say it. Don't even think it. If he is a witch, what if he can read our thoughts..?

Would explain all the poker winnings.

Very impressive, nevertheless. Is this Fred's single biggest return, if we deem it a single bet?

Thanks horsey, cunning stuff that. So many ways to skin a cat. And to think I spent half my life in a Ladbrokes, pencil behind ear, following Dick Whitford, George Ennor & Tony Morris, & doing regular ice-cream singles.

We are safely on, though I modified the bet sizes very slightly for ease of maths & symmetry.

We have......

£5 @ 10/1, BetVictor, 3-0, Atletico Madrid v Espanyol

£7.50 @ 13/2, BetVictor, 2-0, Atletico Madrid v Espanyol

£7.50 @ 13/2, BetVictor, Atletico Madrid v Espanyol.

All the talk this morning about Bobby Moore and you watch Ivanovic turn his back as Tevez shoots.

Such is the value of image rights, players are frightened of getting hit.

Does my nut in, even if it is good news for spurs.

Not quite, but Top Ten, yes.

Without trawling through each month of the Spready (feel free!), I can think of.....

Doobsy, £400+, Chelsea to beat Barca.

hector, £20 @ 14/1, Nick Colsaerts

horsey, £20 @ 18/1 on a horse overseas somewhere, maybe Australia or Santa Anita.

Neil (yup, him again) may have given us our biggest winner on a dog at Wimbledon or Romford one night, £100 @9/2 or somesuch.

geordieneil gave us a Darts Super Yankee (ugh!) which cleared over £300.

Mahogany Vic gave us a £300 winner, can't recall right now exactly what.

We had £150 @ 2/1 on a Test Match result that Tighty gave us.

Camel's San Fran in Superbowl, combining the bet & lay was probably £300+.

We had a big bet on Phil Taylor as insurance against our monster MVG World's bet, too.

I'm sure I've forgotten a few, & will be reminded, but without going through the Spready, those ones come to mind.

He can deffo read my poker ability.

Back in the day, Neil used to stake a lot of players, buy a lot of Tournament action, & I was interviewing him for a TV Show, can't recall where or when.

In front of camera, I put him on the spot.

"You stake half the UK Neil, but you have never yet sought to buy any of my action".

"Well no, but to be fair, you are completely hopeless".

Pretty good read that.
