got the dreaded referring message from laddies
cue a nolan goal within 5 minutes to really sum up the weekend punting wise
I read about an incident somewhere involving a guy that wanted to place online a £5 ew bet on a golfer pre tourney with Laddies and it got knocked back coz it said the stake was too high. He then rang up the call centre to place the £5 ew and was told the stake was too low(they have a £25 minimum per call I think)
Can't understand why the share price is suffering so much
.....
FML again.
I purchased my Laddies shares 30 years ago, at the time the internet had not even been invented, (not for public use, anyway) & Laddies owned Hotels, Garden Centres and a DIY Chain. How times change.
Cyril Stein was in charge then, too. Quite a character.

Yeah it's a crap price unless he scores first. Had the same conversation when the price came up.

still not a good price even though he has scored!

He was 17/2 to score two or more with betfair.
Now that's a joke!

Lol, the Fred regulars are in fine form this evening.
Much better fun here on Fred, over on the main Forum they are all bellyaching about Online Tourney Lobbies & how unfair life is.
Bleurgh.

well I fear they won't be in the 'bookmaking' business soon. Shops full of FOBT's and they just bought Betdaq, half a chance they are hoping the exchange prices on there might provide some of their fixed odds markets.
