I'm obviously too smart to put horse racing bets up here...buuuuuuut....I'd like to post something that has interested me.
A horse is travelling from Newmarket to Sedgefield and is the only horse the trainer is taking. It's the top rated horse in the field (according to whatever ratings are used in The Sun). It is down in grade and, despite being pulled up in its last two runs, he's on a 400+mile round trip today for a class 5 handicap.
Ballyvoneen is 16-1 on betfair in the 3.50 at Sedgefield.
Thoughts?
Looks like it walked the 400+ miles to the course rather than use a horse box

Isn't it sweet, playing Spurs while they still have something to play for.
Is it a year ending in a one? Oh yeah, even that straw clutch dont work any more.....

Spent the entire time laughing as the embers of my money drifted in the breeze.
Must cost more than the prize money to take a horse all that way that can't jump and can't run.
I do get confused watching racing at times.

Spurs have been terrible so far. Adebayor more likely to be sent off than score. Lennon offering very little. Dembele being played by an actor.
Must improve.
