Exactly. Bizarre. Only in America.

Would love to see the Fighting Irish take on the Thundering Herd.

Morning Mr T.

Today's rugby between Scotland and Wales could be an entertaining one. Scotland are not very good and Wales like to run the ball, and my internet weather watch says it will be dry up there. I was tempted to go for a Wales win by over 13 points @ 3-1 but I feel that is the correct price so I have gone elsewhere to try and get a nitty profit. I have mentioned before Wales's reliance on their wingers for trys and so I suggest we follow them again and back them both in the anytime try scorer market. If either score, which has happened in each of the games so far, it is a profit and if they both do then it is victory dance time.

We can then look to reinvest the profit in cake ingredients, a watch strap, or Aaron's nice football suggestion. " David it's over to you "

Cuthbert £10 @ 9/4 with Ladbrokes
North £10 @ 5/2 with Ladbrokes.

"Scotland are not very good"......Careful hector, we have a LOT of Scots here. Wink

Not sure we will be investing any profits in 4 & 5-0 scoreline banzais, in truth.

On my way to load up for another hector special.

All sorted.

Note that Betfair have slightly better prices in both cases, but no liquidity to speak of, so we went with Ladbrokes as suggested, & they are ool with most others.

Also, thanks for the Huddersfield tip - long story (involving a misclick) but I ended up with THREE bets on Huddersfield, 1 for Fred & two for myself.

We have £10 @ 9/4, Ladbrokes, Cuthbert to score a try ANYTIME v Not Very Good Scotland.

And £10 @ 5/2, Ladbrokes, North to score a try ANYTIME v Not Very Good Scotland.

I see Betfred are offering 25/1 on MTOY, Simonsig, Hurricane Fly and Quevega all winning. This is of no interest to me, but they are offering 20/1 on all of them to get beat. I maybe looking at this wrong but at the current betfair prices, an acca on them all to win would be 28/1 and all to get beat is 11/1. This offer is available on the web under day 1 acca till 11am. I think this is worth bet even if its only a fiver.My amateur workings out;

MTOY not win (1.5)* Simonsig not to win (2.37) * Hurricane Fly not to win (1.42) * Quevega not to win *(2.42)  = 12.21 = 11/1

3 bets on Huddersfield is some going when Mr rsgfdc or whatever his name is couldn't even manage one. You do run good.

I shall have to monitor your awakeage this afternoon as I may go for something in the Irish game later, or the rugby league. But sleep is far more important.

Thanks Everton Bloke, & welcome back.

Wow, I asked for "specials" but that is a very odd one.

I need to sit in a dark room to get my head round the maths of that. The likelihood of ALL winning or ALL losing is pretty remote, but I guess it is (supposed to be) in the price. I guess it is one where folks who better understand how to work the Exchanges would be able to manipulate. It'd be quite complicated to protect though.

I need some help on this one, if anyone is able. I CAN see we are getting the best of the price though.

Hi Tikay , 20/1  'seems' a good price but is this one of those strage scenarios whereby, although all the individual odds added up make it a bet in theory, when all odds combined/and combined with them ALL having to happen together should distort the overall oddds(i.e20/1) dunno i aleays find these tricky, enough of my rambling we need some real maths wiz on the case

I initially thought I'd be cute & get a better price for your bet on Betfair, so I placed the bet, & only then realised it was Unmatched. If I stuck the bet up here Unmatched I'd get some grief, so I bottled it, & decided to keep it for myself. It was Matched minutes later, in full.

Then I stuck the Fred bet on, as advised, & correctly.

Then Joe came on with the Handicap Suggestion for Nits, & I thought if hector fancies it at Levels, I MUST have some with a 12 point start, so I had another £44 @ 10/11 for myself.

So I ended up with THREE bets. I was pretty smug as the match wore on, though I wore out my fingers pressing Refresh. I cleared about £120 overall, which is very nice, & they were my only completed bets yesterday. Nice to hit the weekend with a bit of profit already in the bag.

rfqqbhfghjyygt, aka Adam. Recreational misclicker, not in my league.

No probs with awakeage this afternoon, I cannot have a nap as I have a weekend visitor, so I'll be around all day. Not even tired, slept right through last night for the first time in months. Roaring to go today.

Look forward to more hector rugbyage.

I sort of sense the same, but I don't really understand the math.

That is truly awful.

Captain Cook joined Ian Bell and Michael Vaughan overnight in scoring a hundred against all 8 test-playing nations.
