Actually was going to swerve the IC game. But the France game probably will be included. The England game is the cornerstone, Netherlands game will defo be in there, Spain and Germany will probably be included, Argentina was a maybe and IC and Austria were other possibles. Its basically the best gambling card you could find on an international week

Point of order

This man, a thread regular, spotted at Cheltenham

I propose a thread ban for excessive countryside wear, and red trousers

Shocker.

Thread ban, imo.

All the gear, no idea.

I'm currently on a short holiday/break/few days away in Paignton, visiting an old friend. I missed the entire match, any details about it and any mid-table gloating until after the game had finished.

Jol and Berba. A very good manager and one of the two most gifted players I've seen wearing a spurs shirt live. (Klinsmann being the other. Never got to see Gazza play).

Just seen the Wigan game highlights, shambolic sport.

Didn't see the game, but just seen the tackle along with the fracas at halftime. Horrible challenge and hopefully there isn't any lasting damage to the lad.

Is anyone watching the cricket? I really think the draw is overpriced, I know Fred is on India but if they lose an early wicket in the chase then they will play for the draw. They need 4 runs an over on a battered pitch already. I really like on PP. Any thoughts? Will have to be quick!

Chess update:

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58441.msg1739319#msg1739319

Quick summary for those who want a Monday morning quickie:

Our man won from a level position against Gelfand and now has 2 out of 3.

Radjabov lost but Aronian won again, so Carlsen is in joint second at the moment after 3/14 rounds.

Rest day today and Carlsen takes on Grischuk tomorrow.

Pic of the day:

Aronian gets all his pieces just as he wants them before he starts. All chess players do it. It seems to help you focus on the position. An odd psychological quirk.

Is that really pic of the day?

No streakers, no bird with big jugs, not even a decent hot dog to look at? Surely not Tal. Grin

With me you get the cerebral and the odd mild curiosity.

You don't get smut.
