Well ignored. Apologies

The Port Vale game?

Never apologize Wazzy, it is a betting thread, there is always risk, & I take the blame once the bet is accepted.

No idea if we would have got on, even with hindsight, but I was just too busy yesterday what with this & that & never had time to consider anything.

Never mind all that. Four ew gold bets at 8.30am (earlier than they said). Front three at 6/1, 12/1 and 16/1 and throw in Rose at 22/1 - all each-way.

Still available right now

It leaves a bad taste in the mouth the way that Hills process these 'special price' offers. I tried to have £100 on one of the players lengthened this morning. The bet slip came back with £10 as the max stake. Ok I except they might want to restrict to smaller amounts but what did look very bad is it converted the rest of the stake they had refused into a bet at their regular price at the bottom of the betslip.

My guess is there will be many people that click the continue expecting to get whatever Hills have allowed them at the extended price without noticing they have also accepted the rest at the regular price.

That is bang wrong Phil, there should be a "MAX BET" amount. So you've been semi-conned into £90 at a "normal" price?

Not sure I'd be happy with that.

Great post Moon. Should be backed with Betfair fixed odds at 18/5 (always nice to screw them).

Anyone know if Betfair fixed odds will be up on odds checker any time soon? Might be occasionally missing a better price with it just being the exchange price listed

I like to apologies if my opinion/thoughts are proved wrong, feels the right thing to do. Accept not everything gets backed and of course always a risk.

Checked the stats and vale it seems were outplayed with Aldershot having 57% possesion, which is surprising!

We move on!

It is about as rare as rocking-horse shit that they are best price or even close to the exchenge price Greg. Obviously they must be punished 1st when they are. When they boast about how great they did in beating the bookies with their exchange prices in events (win only and some to a fiver) I always like to tweet and ask how their lovely sportsbook fared against those firms.

There will be a lot of people that will click accept and then continue and then find there is a bet at the reduced price on the slip too.

I actually put in an ASA complaint* at the weekend when they did their speil about beating the books on prices and then seamlessly moved to an offer that was only on the sportsbook.

it is a little snide

but they have done it that way for a while

tbf to them they hold these offers a fair while i think

considering 95% of them are complete no brainers overall they are very fair

They would not have allowed that, & I wanted (& got advice) that it would be best to spread it around those 4. I think I got the Max allowable (for my Account) on all 4.

Did a couple of shops this morning - one knocked me to max £30 on Woods whereas the other merrily took the £100 after fiddling with his screens for a bit.

What are the chances I get screwed with £30 @ 6/1 and £70 @ 9/2 type nonsense?  I'm 0/2 in IBAS complaints in my career and could see this being third time unlucky!
