Suarez isn't playing?

Are you sure?

Has this been reported somewhere? Is he injured?

Id Like to recomend a decent bet on Newcastle to beat Liverpool today  at 6- 5 DRAW NO BET currently with corals (11-10 still good)

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/newcastle-v-liverpool/draw-no-bet

Newcastle still need the points for premiership survival and after getting humiliated last home match by Sunderland will be keen to make ammends.

With home advantage and roared on by 50000 passionate  Geordies Im sure they will be up for it against a Liverpool who cant make the Top  4 so have little to play for.Add to that  goal machine Suarez not playing and draw = money back I feel this is very good value

This is 2.26 with SBO and 2.31 with Pinnacle.  Dont see it myself but please take the best price if you are going to bet it.

Thanks Fraser.

Don't have any view on the result, & you may well be right, but.......surely all the evidence you suggest for a Newcastle win is in the domain, & the price?

I'm interested if we can gain an edge, or get value, but on the face of it, surely - this is the key thing - the price offered is, as near as makes no difference - right?

We only want to bet if we think the price is wrong, surely? (Rhetorical.....;!)

Morning Mr T.

The search for another weekend hat trick begins tonight when Widnes host Wakefield. I usually like to find games where I think points will be hard to come by. I think this may be because when the game kicks off we are already winning and we remain winning until maybe 10 minutes from time and we may lose. When we go for lots of points we start off losing and may only be winning for the last 10 minutes, and I prefer time spent winning to losing. How weird and icecreamish is that ?

Anyway tonight I am opting to be losing for most of the game. Widnes have a plastic pitch and it is more conducive to high scores because of this. Both teams will think their best chance of winning will be by attack rather than solid defence.

Suggest £24 over 55.5 points @ 5/6 Coral or Betvictor.

Thanks hector. Done.

It'd be rather pleasing if you could manage another three or four in a row. We need the money.

£24 @ 5/6, Corals, OVER 55.5 points, Widnes v Wakefield.

ON

Over 55.55/6Widnes v Wakefield - 26/04/2013Stake £24.00
Estimated Return:£44.
Total Stake: £24.00
Potential Return: £44.00

Tikay, I know someone suggested this before, but you need a Spreadex account. They are over 53.5 5/6 on this match and 21/20 over 55.5. They are not on Oddschecker (which is a bonus) but are FSA(FCA) regulated and I have used them for years.

If anyone is opening an account there is a £50 refer a friend scheme. You will need to quote my full name and my post code which is WD4 9JD when they call you after opening the account. All and any £50s that I receive will be used as free bets on behalf of Blonde. Tikay can have the ultimate decision where it goes and if we spin them up to anything significant we could buy a horse called Blondepoker (or a greyhound) ;-)

I know links are not allowed but I think this might be ok:
http://www.spreadex.com/sports/promotions/refer-and-earn/

Thanks Joe.

I missed this yesterday, sorry.

In fact, I was hesitant to open a Spreadex Account initially because I do not really want to get back into spreads, been there, done that, got the scars. (I'm addictive).

But....I now realise they do, & you were talking about, Fixed Odds. Which of course is fine & dandy.

I shall get an Account opened, using the Code you gave.

That is a very kind offer as to the £50, too, thank you.

I suggest we let Eso Kral decide what we spend the £50's on. That way, we get more bets, as we can bet on, say, Walsall winning, drawing, & losing, the same game.

How can we lose?

All being well, Mr Gatland has already decided, and isn't a fan of Mr Guscott

Still 1/2 on Warburton

We find out Tuesday. Not a leak at all about captain or squad.

Only eighteen doge entered in The Scottish Greyhound Derby which is the third most prestigious event on the calendar after the English and Irish derbys.

Three heats tonight followed by a final next Saturday seems rather mundane for the first leg of the never yet achieved triple crown.

Ahead of tomorrow I thought I would summarise the thread's football bets

For these purposes I have chosen to exclude Walsall who we need both to go up and go down

Premiership

QPR to go down £50 at 8/5 This weekend is now or never, away at Reading. In all probability a fortnight tops away from a settled winner

Chelsea outside top 4 £80 at 9-4.  4-5 games to go, 4th ahead of Spurs in 5th by a point

Championship

Huddersfield to be promoted £20 at 10-1. This can be written off.

Wolves to go down £10 at 15-2  In bottom 3 with two games to go..chances but one win scuppers us in reality

Blackburn to go down £45 at 3-1 An outside chance, result this week at Millwall very bad news for the bet. A win this weekend writes the bet off

Birmingham to go down £20 at 5.4  Recent improvment in form makes success very very unlikely for bet, 9 points above the drop so points tomorrow and thats it

Bolton £5 at 33-1 This can be written off

League One

Doncaster to win £20 at 12-1. A point behind Bournemouth going into the last game. Likely to fall agonisingly short.

Brentford v Doncaster
Tranmere v Bournemouth

So not the best fixture as Brentford play off hunting

League 2

Bradford to win £25 ew 12-1  Can be written off

York top 7 £30 14-1  Can be written off

Conference

Maccelsfield promotion £3 at 80-1 £5 at 50-1 Didn't make play offs. Loss to be taken

Summary

Suggest taking the red ink, tikay...

thread needs QPR lose, Doncaster win/Bournemouth lose, Wolves lose, and Chelsea to lose....needs them to come in!

Finally, Walsall at Crewe tomorrow are into 11/10 from 13/8 having been 10/11 yesterday

Max bet, and a huge game for the thread with the above losses to take

ADD to this, "Arsenal to win Premier League without Manchester Clubs", £80 @ 11/4.

There are also some other seriously ill Football Bets still on there - Danny Kedwall (sp?) Top Scorer (sounds like a Chompy special to me) & Napoli to win Seria A. Are these both dead, too? If so, I'll take tomorrow.

I am today going to take as losses all the Bets you say "can be written off". I am assuming, short of silliness, that those bets really are dead.

Birmingham has belatedly submitted its accounts for the last three years, so there's now no chance of the club going into administration, which was part of the rationale behind the bet. Combine that with an almost immediate spurt of form and we have a slush puppy's chance in Hades of seeing that money again.
