The Brighton Lay
Can I just make sure I have got this right?
We have invested £300 @ 9/2 for Brighton to be promoted.
The original plan was to trade half of it once Brighton reached the play offs.
Camel said a few days ago he was not averse to "laying the entire £300".
By which, I assume he means.....
I LAY Brighton for £300 @ 3.25, for a liability of £675. Is that correct?
So if Brighton win the play offs you win £1350-£675=£675
and if they lose the £300 stake is covered
So you have a positive freeroll and can cheer them on risk free

To be precise you would need to lay £315.79 on Betfair to have a total freeroll since you are paying 5% commission on your Betfair profit.

Might be a bit of 'man on moon' news this but Fergie is not eligible for SPOTY under the current rules and has been deleted from most lists. Oi oi Froomey!

Looks like the Golf may see us get that long awaited Woods/McIlroy head to head.
Great prices on rest of field if anyone spotted something

Thanks Vince. I did that, only to find the price had moved!

I have no idea how that arose.
When I clicked the pink "lay" button, the little box came up & said "3.25". I inserted the sum, clicked the button, & it said I had placed it at 3.2!
That site remains a complete mystery to me.

Just been given this bet by a darts player mate of mine, he says that Tony Martin should be nowhere near 11/5 against Maik Langendorf
http://www.oddschecker.com/darts/uk-open/maik-langendorf-v-tony-martin/winner
I've had all I could get on £30 @ 11/5
