Very pleased with the Tighty bet, we are on Rosberg and Raikkonen, both each way, so we have good chances here, may even get a bipodiumivate.

Bipodiumivation chances will require some form of incident (likely involving tyres) in front with the Red Bulls. Webber is third atm and Hamilton is in between. About a second separates the three of them.

You called tyre trouble correctly, but never expected that.

And then there was one.

Been mulling a bet on the NBA playoffs game between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.  Miami are the best team in the NBA.  It isn't particularly close to be honest.  They went like 30 games unbeaten during the regular season and Lebron James is the best player since Jordan and the only one to have gotten close to him so it goes without saying I like the Pacers!!!!

Why?  I watched the first couple of games in Miami which they split 1-1 but bother were very close.  The line on them was Miami -8 but Miami never really looked like covering that.  Normally in the NBA we would expect home advantage to be worth somewhere in the region of 3.5-4 points so a reasonable line for this game would be somewhere between pick and Miami -1.  The general line is Miami -1.5 so we pick up a smidgeon of value there but the more important reasons are to do with the way the teams matchup.  Despite how dominant Miami have been over the rest of the league this year Indy shade their meetings 3-2 this year and the last ten meetings are 5-5 and have posted a 7-3 record against the spread in those games.  I have been struggling in my mind to understand why this might be but then I read a tweet today from Haralabous Voulgaris who is widely considered one of the best nba bettors in the world linking to this article he described as "might be the best nba piece he has read all year"  http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/58603/roy-hibbert-is-in-lebron-james-head and it certainly makes a lot of sense as to why they are playing them tough.

Added to this there is no doubt that Dwayne Wade is playing with a niggle and is not his usual self.  So effectively we can expect two of the Heats three main players to perform below their very best tonight and it doesn't seem to be in the line despite what our eyes saw in the first two games.  Don't think it is a huge edge but I would make the Pacers a small favourite here.  Suggest 30 quid on pacers +1.5 at 1.98 on Betfair or 1.95 with Pinnacle....

Agree with a lot of this... pacers and particularly Hibbert may very well be Miami's kryptonite..Pacers would have won game one but for Hibbert being left bizarrely on the bench for the final key plays including the winning drive to the rim by James. The drive to the basket is a massive part of James game but put a massive big like Hibbert in his way creates a bad matchup for James. Without doubt James is just awesome and may end up the best player ever to play the game.. but Miami are beginning to lean towards a one man team on occasions with Bosh and Wade combining for less than James so far in the series... Pacers are playing as a complete unit and out of their skins... however Miami can make adjustments and tbh i prefer the totals bet over 181-181.5... of the 5 games this season only one has been under this and James etc could have been stung into realising they are in a true fight rather than waltzing to the championship like everyone has been telling them.. having said that Pacers have won both the games at home v Miami this season... so both bets have good merit

Over £80k matched on Westwood on betty @ 1.5 and lower.

Looks like he's choking like a good 'un again at Wentworth.

Cavendish wins the intermediate sprint, meaning he now LEADS the red points jersey.

We are very favourably placed now.

England decide not to enforce the follow on, 180 ahead (the follow on amount is reduced to 150 from 200 because we have lost a day to the weather).

Must be trying to win this tonight!

Mumbai 16/3.
Struggling.

Presumably, American Wrestling style, this is all part of the plan for an exciting finish, & Mumbai will score, say, 220-4.

100/5 after 15.1 so looking unlikely.

Another nice part of the Monacoresult was Vettel 2nd, Alonso 7th and Kimi no finish

This leaves Vettel 21 points clear at the top, and the more competitive mercedes come under the new tyre rules the better, as the points get spread around more...more difficult to come from behind..notably for Alonso who remains the main challenger

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/drivers-world-championship/standings

We have, across two bets, £60 at 2.45 and he is now odds on at 1.94 after today
