Daily Report

Profit on Month £115.20

Outstanding Bets £1141.25

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=25

Wemberley, Wemberley, we're the famous tips for tikay and we went to Wemberley. Now I have sport withdrawal symptoms having missed six days of action.

One bet yesterday, one winner. Jamie Heaslip, who has come back to form since the Six Nations, scored a try to lock up our resident Milkman another £28 profit

As an aside part one, the Heaslip form is probably bad news for our Welsh players in the first Test bet but, and I don't like to see anyone injured, the Cian Healy injury is good news for that bet as Gethin Jenkins should now play loose head

As an aside part two, the match was 10.30am yesterday and I was ensconsed in a Wembley box (£125,000 a year to own) waiting to commentate. WidescreenTV, Sky Sports1 Western Force the Lions, job done. Until a French techie decides that we need to use the screen to see what the stream is showing live an hour and a half before play starts

I invoked the spirit of Serge Blanco and Jean Pierre Rives but Entente Cordiale it was not, and I lost the battle. Merde.

I see we have some speculative positions in the Champions Trophy that starts today. Royal Ascot too.

If everyone wants to take a minute to check the Middlesex and Chris Rogers scores from yesterday, please do so. Bing!

Northants too, max bowling points so far.

Normal service resumed from tomorrow, when I have caught up

Ahh, welcome back Rich!

I had just penned my far more pedestrian version of the Daily Report, which I'll happily bin now.

I have only just clicked why you write the TfT Reports so well, or a few of the reasons, your natural abilities apart.

You LOVE sport.

You are OCD.

You are OCD about sport.

Welcome back. It's like you have never been away. Sort of.

I like the Widnes bet. Anyone who proposes a bet against their own team deserves to be considered with the utmost respect- to me it is the true indication of a bettor rather than a gambler. In addition Widnes do seem to raise their game against their local rivals. It would be nice if Hock was playing but I believe he is out.

Morning Mr T.

It's big people v little people in the cricket today and the bookies still haven't cottoned on to the fact that big people hit the ball further than dwarfs. India did really badly in hitting 6's in last years 20/20 and South Africa should be a decent favourite in today's contest. Obviously we have to hold our breath when Dhoni is batting.

Suggest £15 South Africa to score more 6's than India today @ 6/5 with Paddy Power.

Lovely hector, thank you.

How is the fennel today?

Well done on the Heaslip thing yesterday.

We managed to get this bet on without being Restricted. Perhaps PP are with the little people.

£15 @ 6/5, Paddy Power, South Africa to score more 6's than India.

Thanks, but Mr Kinboshi gave us a choice.....

Hector's thoughts on Widnes @ 2/1 or Widnes +8 points @ 5/6?

Which do you prefer?

If it were my money, I'd go Route Nit, of course.

Hock is out, but wouldn't be allowed to play against Wigan anyway (as part of the loan deal).

Fennel/weed bed much the same. I hope to be able to discern one from the other soon, but it does look like being a bumper crop of raspberries this year. I feel totally indulgent when the raspberries are about as I have a bowl of Special K (I just love the crunchy texture), cream, sugar and a dozen raspberries on top for breakfast every day. And raspberry crumble is wonderful too. My neighbour makes raspberry jam and gives me some in a trade for apples.

I guess I have to say route nit now as if they lose, but by less than 8 points I would appear a muppet.

Hector's growing weed? Careful what you say on the internet, chief!

The "fennel" and "cake" references all make sense now...

My last rugby league tip on here went so well I thought it was time to put another one up Cheesy.

Wigan play Widnes on the iPitch tomorrow, with 9 first-choice players missing from the squad.

Wigan Warriors 19 Man Squad ( in alphabetical order)

Greg Burke, Josh Charnley, Dom Crosby, Anthony Gelling, Darrell Goulding, James Greenwood, Ryan Hampshire, Harrison Hansen, Jack Hughes, Epalahame Lauaki, Lee Mossop, Sam Powell, Tom Spencer, Scott Taylor, Lewis Tierney, Iain Thornley, Logan Tomkins, Chris Tuson, George Williams.

Not sure what the final 17-man squad will be, but there'll be no Sam Tomkins, Richards, O'Loughlin, Farrell, Green or Smith - so arguably the main spine of the team will be missing.  Super League debuts for 18 year olds Hampshire and Tierney (who is Jason Robinson's son incidentally) and two young half-backs, as well as a very young pack.

Wigan have been on a great run of form, but not with this side.  Widnes are getting better as the season progresses.  They're not a top-half side, but have put a decent run of results together (lost a couple of their last 6 games, but only by a few points each time).

You can get Widnes at 2/1 which is a bit generous imo, especially as it's at Widnes.  You can also back Widnes +8 points at 5/6, which also looks like good value.  I think the odds haven't fully taken into account the degree the side has been changed, and just how many key players have been rested or are out injured.

The match is on Sky tomorrow night, so there's the benefit of being able to watch the sweat.

Hector's thoughts on Widnes @ 2/1 or Widnes +8 points @ 5/6?

Thanks Dan, we got our answer.

We have slightly bettered that price, we got +8 @ 10/11 with BetFred.

£22 @ 10/11, BetFred, Widnes (+8) over Wigan,

Bet placed, its reference is139/146

Just had a look through on Oddschecker, the game I put up was Tony Martin to beat Maik Langendorf, and I think that the other game put up by Bazza or Snowball was John Scott to beat James Hubbard.

They were with Bwin, so the prices went pretty quickly and I think it might have just been a few that were about at the time who did.

Chat elsewhere about 3 or more David Bakers. Now we have two Tony Martins? (The other being the German cyclist, rather than the chap who shot the burglar or the singer who married Cyd Charisse)

Not forgetting these Martins. One hit wonders, sunk without trace, whatever made any of them think they could make a living in music?
