Quite like the Aussies today, 6/4, beats betfair slightly. Not a recommend but thoughts?

Fred has £60 on Australia at 7/4 due to Tighty.
We are also on an Australia series win.

Morning Mr M.

In the rugby today I don't see a lot of points. The Lions have made 2 changes to stop the Aussies, Lydiate and Bowe and 2 forced changes which weaken the team Vunipola and Parling. I think Youngs improves the team but that is mainly because Phillips is so bad nowadays - about 6 years past his best. This referee usually lets the game flow and is not so likely to give penalties. I think most of the players will be playing scared of making mistakes and the default action is to take the safe option- apart from Genia who looks a superb player.

Suggest £20 under 44 points @ evens with William Hill.

Anyone looking for a fun bet that is over priced, if we are to assume few points and maybe an Aussie win, could do worse than have a bet with Ladbrokes that all the Lions points are scored by Welsh players. They have this available at 5-1.

Hello. Connery bet no good, then?

Someone asked about why he would be in the royal box. As a knight of the realm, it is almost inconceivable that he wouldn't be in the royal box if he were to attend. He was for the Olympics at Wimbledon and has been AFAIK whenever he has attended Wimbledon rounds since his knighthood.

Think they are all either busy perving the Ladies Tennis, or assessing whether the near-term mortality rates for 82 year olds is in the price, Tal.

The market is no longer available.
I'm keeping an eagle-eye on it.

Is Sean not only allowed in uk so many days a year to safely dodge tax? Proper research someone needs to phone his accountant lol see if he is allowed

Apologies in advance

Genia is barely fit heavily strapped knee done in training yesterday.

Sigh/Hooray depending on financial/Lions supporting sensibilities

The (Le?) Tour De France starts tomorrow and we have the following bets:

cheapwetsuit   Winner Nairo Quintana - e/w   33/1   £20
Tonji      Winner   Richie Porte   29/1   £10
Tonji     Top 3   Richie Porte   4/1   £10
Tonji      Team classification   Garmin Sharp   10/1   £5

Enough to keep us interested for 3 weeks but if anyone has any deep insight don't be shy about tipping on this thread. Smiley

May have a King of the Mountains recommendation. But think prices may lengthen after stage 2, so no rush.

Looking forward to see young Nairo, he has not raced for two months, hidden away in his home in Columbia. Hope he gets the opportunity to show his talent, but fear he's under orders to work for leader Valverde, but may be allowed freedom in the last week.  Sets off at 25/1.

Porte in the media yesterday is still confident that if all goes to plan he can make the podium in support of Froome. 20/1 on the Grand Departe.

Garmin riders & managers have said they will cause chaos, hoping to shake up Sky & the other top teams with surprise attacks on three different fronts. Start today generally 7/1

Lions lineout could have cost them the series. Great game, could the final test more tense than that.

We don't have a world class hooker in the four nations. Other areas like back row, wing etc are real quality positions

Next week will be very close again, two evenly matched sides

We have £100 at 2.48 Australia the series so our position is set in place already.

To my untrained eye, the last Lions lineout was a huge mistake. Still 3 minutes left, you throw to the front, the safest option, & work in field for the drop goal opportunity?

Yes, catch and drive..hope for a penalty. If no penalty then drive again, position for drop goal

Will need to watch aain but I think Hibbard missed Parling and it went to the back.
