Whats peoples opinion on betting on pre season friendlies?
Personally I think theirs money to be made as bookies seem to price them up on name rather than who's starting and how far ahead in training terms one team is to another.
Fwiw I don't see how Celtic are favorites against Sevavstopol of Ukraine which starts in 10mins, they are over 2 weeks ahead in pre season having played 3 games while Celtic only started back training last week and have one bounce game against Crewe(which they lost) under their belt.
Pretty weak Celtic side out and not sure of the Ukrainians but would imagine the match means more to them.

They'll be out watering the course to slow it down tomorrow.

Fairly harsh guy on the music in Cardiff for the T20 cricket.
When the
home
batsman have been dismissed we've had:
"Things can only get better"
"Don't you forget about me"

Celtic lost 1-0, could easily have been down by 2 or 3 by Half time. The Ukranians were as big as 4/1 on Betair just before the off, hopefully some got on.

Update on freds Tour de France bets.
Garmin have had some injury problems. Hesjedal is riding with a cracked rib from the day one crashes. Vande Velde was involved in yesterdays crash & has a blood clot on his neck & a loose screw in his collar bone from a previous injury, but is expected to continue. They are currently 4th in the team classification, 17 seconds behind the leaders.
Movistar & Quintana have had a solid start, no dramas. Quintana is well placed at 20 seconds back. Saturdays Stage 8 in the Pyrenees is when we should see some action from him & his team.
Porte is 3 seconds down on the overall, on the same time as Froome. Sky have their own injury worries, mainly with Thomas & his fractured pelvis. Saturday will be a big day for them.

Noticed this in the daily oddschecker.com email, isn't this the guy with the interesting hair who some of Fred's regs are big on?
"The other man to keep onside is Peter Wright (33/1). Wright is in top form with his recent UK Open semi no fluke. His quarter has been weakened by the late withdrawal of Gary Anderson, yet the 6/1 on offer is unaltered and should be backed."
This is re the Euro Champs which is on tonight btw
