As the draw has been made what is your recommendation now?
Would love to get fishing on the books.

Jamie Hughes is now 2/1 with a 13/2 bar.

Has he been to Morrison's beforehand?

I saw a convo re the Brooks v Jones bout tonight and a bet recommend, think it was Kell on points so not sure if you are on or not. There seems to be a worry that Brook might not be abs bang on after his injury and it appears he hasn't  trained quite as well as he is making out. Think there is a bit of value at 14/1 in Jones to win in rounds 6-10 with Laddies given it looks sure to last a lot of rounds and Brook wavered in the later rounds of the first bout. Obv this is a ten round bout which will help him but as Bazza (?) said it doesn't look like a knock out fight and the longer it goes the harder it is likely to be for Kell, he might do enough and hold on for the points win but no downside in taking a tenner as a cover on Jones to win in rounds 6-10.

Paddy have Jones to win in rounds 7-9 at 14/1 so getting the same price here for rounds 6-10 with Laddies.

I've laid some 1.25 and 1.26 Brook so that would be an option but betting a guy to win on points and then laying him to win isn't a good idea.

What time/date fishomania start? Sounds like funny punting

Tighty test match evens each of two basically. Thoughts?

England

One or two wickets and it will be tricky for the new guys to get in

Rogers and Watson doing a good job though

There's a chance to bet on a new sport on this thread I think today.

It's the Fishomania final live on Sky and I'd like to think that I know a bit when it comes to fishing as I'm a match angler too, having fished against 1 or 2 of these guys in the past.

Anyone of the 16 anglers can win this as it's the best line up ever, featuring previous winners, England internationals and downright solid anglers but........there are things to look for if we have a punt, here's the lowdown for those that are bothered.

Fish follow wind, therefore pegs 9 - 13 look good as the slight breeze could make all the difference.
End pegs are usually an advantage as fish look for a bit of cover (1 and 16)
In this weather, I think it will be won by fishing shallow (all of these guys are good at that...Jamie Hughes and Les Thomson won their qualifiers fishing shallow I think.

I quite fancy Jamie Hughes, Les Thompson and Nathan Watson...these are all around the 9/1 mark and it's about 7/1 the field.

Starts at Midday live on Sky.

Suggest a small £5 bet on each, or 2 of these guys.

This guy is crushing and now odds-on. Central draw bias, with four of the top five inthe middle numbers. Think I've got my next book sorted.

I'm clearly not Tighty on cricket but I think England are a touch of value at 2.30ish.  When England were appraching a lead of 250 and batting they were like 1/4.  Obv a different situation but seems too much of an adjustment for a couple of guys batting in in a slightly fragile batting lineup.

Yeah I think Aussies batting has collapse written all over it, one wicket could easily bring 3/4

Dubai and I agree with this

Aussies have just gone favourites but this is to your point on the other thread the other day Stuart...its discounting a lot of good news for Australia but not discounting the effect of a couple of wickets

Best to be contrarian and back the side that looks to be doing worse

These are two more even sides than many pundits suggested (England more experienced and a bit better obv) so through the series "in play" you can go the other way quite a lot I reckon for profit

Anyone reccing a lay of Australia for the thread?

thread has £25 on Australia at 3-1 with a free bet if England win

thread also has £36.25 on England at 4/5 and Evens from other offers

As long as its not a draw, which it can't be, we make a bit of money

In a vacuum, I would lay Australia here. I might well be wrong, but that's my thought
