Quintana moves up a spot after today's stage.
1 Froome
2 Mollema +4'14
3 Contador +4'25
4 Kreuziger +4'28
5 Quintana +5'47
How will Quintana be expected to fare in the mountain time trial, relative to those above him?
Are we essentially hoping that the double Alpe D'Huez stage sends Quintana into the top three?

At the risk of a stupid question, is win only better than each way for that golf promo?

Standout T20 price for tomorrow
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/friends-life-t20/northamptonshire-v-somerset/winner
Northants £40 to beat Somerset 11/8 Bet365. 5/4 best price elsewhere
Northants about to go top of their Group having tonked Gloucs for 206 today
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/english-twenty20/table
Unbeaten at home so far this season in T20
Invested in overseas signings this year to bolster the batting, Richard Levi (south african big hitter, 178 runs in competition so far this year ) and Cameron White (Aussie IPL star, batting at 3 for Northants)
Have one of the most underrated death bowlers in Azarullah who has taken 11 wickets at 10 each in 5 games this season
I saw them on Sunday and the contrast to prior seasons in terms of fitness, fielding, approach is astonishing. First year I think I can remember that they are competitive in the hit it and giggle stuff
Somerset perennial T20 contenders but the side is under-performing this year. Ageing in key spots (Trescothick, Alfonso Thomas, Suppiah has retired) and only won 2 of 4 so far this season
Still a dangerous side with Buttler, Kieswetter, Petersen etc, but not the force of old in any competition this season
10 days ago Somerset beat home at home to Northants but At home, preparing a pitch to suit (slow, low) Northants should be a shade odds on for this in my opinion
Was shocked to see 11/8 though of course its T20...randomising format for betting purposes as any short game can be

With 7 places, has to be each way.

Tomorrows time trial
More suited to Quintana than the flat TT, although perhaps more technical with twisty climbs & descents. Should make up time on Mollema.
Stages 18 (Alpe D'Huez) & 20 (Semnoz) are both HC mountain top finishes, he can put minutes into his rivals then.

Does the Unibet bet have to be on the second test or is it any market? I don't have anything to suggest; just clarifying the terms.
Mr Novice to clarify
Not received it yet.
The offer says it will be credited within 48 hours.
It
should
may be straight cash back but I have annotated it as a free bet so that we don't forget about it.
Confirmed as £25 back as straight cash with no wagering requirements.

The paddy power offer is rediculous! Apparently having played poker precludes you from using the offer!

Daily Report
Profit on Month £84.83
Outstanding Bets £1875.60
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=27
The only profit movement yesterday was the adjustment to the Unibet cricket bet, refunded in cash, previously accounted for as a loss to bump us up by £25
Today the Tour De France Mountain Time trial, ahead of the huge mountain stage tomorrow. Quintana who we have at 33/1 e/w for the Tour is now in 5th, 1'22" behind the podium.
Northants play Somerset tonight in the T20 on Sky, we have Northants at 11/8, a price no longer available
The second Test Match starts at Lords tomorrow. England drifted to Evens earlier in the week but are now a shade of odds-on. Australia once again over 3/1, a big price if they win toss/bat and put a score on the board. A big if.
The Open Golf at Muirfield starts tomorrow and we have the beginnings of a portfolio in place
In the MLB All Star game last night the AL beat the NL to get home field advantage in game seven of the World Series. A long way off, but we have Tampa Bay Rays for the lot, so if they were to get there, good news. Before the All Star Break the Rays won 9 out of 10 to go only 2 games behind the Red Sox in the AL East. The beginnings of a plan coming together with that bet for the second half of the season....

Fellaini85 posted this on the golf thread
Note the Betfred offer (Doobs, anything of interest?)
and strategy thoughts
Betfred going 8 places from 10am-6pm today all channels, they will probably slash all their prices just before but they havent as of yet. If they dont Gmac @ 25/1 with 8 places is very hard to resist.
I'm generally loathed to follow these weather forecasts as they are often proved wrong, but there is a strong suggestion that you probably want a late/early draw by the looks of things. 10mph stronger breeze on both days for those drawn on the other half.
http://www.myweather2.com/activity/forecast.aspx?loc=Five%20Day%20Weather%20Forecast%20for%20Muirfield&rt=plugin&id=141385&sday=1
http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?hourly=1&query=zmw:00000.5.03174&yday=198&weekday=Thursday
On that basis, Gmac is main selection with darts thrown at Danny Willett, Marcus Fraser, Thongchai Jaidee, Ryan Moore, Stephen Gallacher and Harris English.

Stephen Gallacher top Scot in a field of 10 is 6/1 11/2 and plenty 5/1 with 1/5 for 1,2,3 and has won on links before. Form decent.
Each way value with a real shot at winning
