Morning??!

How long did it take you to type that message, Mr Rhodesy?

Were you too busy sorting your vast collection of specialist interest pictures into the Dewey Decimal System?

(We like spreadsheets, here)

sigh,,,,,,,,,,4pm is morning for me at the moment!!

Its all interesting stuff

Anything over 40 points get Cardiff in the hunt at +47

If they were a 43-45 point side, you'd expect the each way part at least to have a real chance

My suggestion this morning was that Cardiff may be a 43-45 point side.

Let you know in nine months.....

Have decided to have a small each way nibble.  BetVictor do seem out of line on a few teams, and most have had the prices adjusted downwards.  The two that haven't are Cardiff and Fulham, so have done a little bit on both each way.

How bad are Hull City Tigers ? Given most handicaps look a bit high there, then the fact BetVictor have the joint biggest handicap probably isn't that significant.  25/1 tho.

Hull +49 at 25/1 looks a great each way shout to me.

I see Adz's fred recommendation has had 2 horses withdrawn and now its only top 2 each way with some big rule 4.

Does anyone have any information about the policy for cancelling bets with bookies?  I read somewhere before that you can cancel any bet made as long as it is before the event (how true this is i have no idea, i may have even imagined it).  I once asked to cancel a bet for me as i placed it to win rather than each way, which they obliged and i went and made the bet again.  I just asked PP live chat if it was possible to cancel my bet on elusivity this evening , as i would rather just have a to win bet now, they told me it wasn't possible and the bet has to stand, which im fine with.  Just curious if its a case of some bookies being more leniant than others, or if i pushed PP that they would cancel it?

I have been looking through some hefty bunker bets for tomorrow's internationals, but had a look at the correct scores market for the very short priced teams and there doesn't even seem to be much big prices, even for such games as Licheinstein v Croatia, and they are 2/17.

But found some interesting spots for some decent sweats.

Chile have named a pretty strong team for their 'home' game against Iraq tomorrow. Chile very close to qualification for Brazil and Iraq already confirmed no chance of been seen in Brazil. Chile sit in 21st in the rankings, whilst Iraq a lowly 104th. It is of course very likely going to be a Chile win, but by how many? Looking through the other markets for "big wins" on short prices doesn't offer such prices as these ones & I think we have a very good opportunity here. Iraw not been up against a high ranked team for quite a while, lost by the odd goal to the Aussies, twice, however looking at recent results it seems they don't find the net that often, even against teams of a similar quality.

Therefore I recc a small interest in Chile to win 5-0 & 6-0.

5-0 is 40's with Stan James (lol)- 43's with You Win (?)

6-0 is 80's witj Stan James (lol) - 167/2 with YouWin (?)

interesting on your baseball bet, from oddschecker today:

The Kansas City Royals are surging at the right time; they've won an incredible 17 of their last 20 to launch themselves into the AL Wildcard race and now sit just four games back of the Oakland Athletics. With a relatively easy schedule on the horizon, including meetings with the struggling Blue Jays, Mariners, Twins and White Sox, the 66/1 available for the Royals to be crowned World Series champions is not to be missed.

What price did Fred get?

£20 at 80-1, Singhee.

Before the spreadsheet was as detailed as it is now, so sometime in the spring it was placed

Tal's Silly Question of the Day (brought to you in association with ChessPics, the antidote to boring boring arsenal)

Here we go...

At 8.25 tonight, a horse is running in a bumper at Stratford. It's an Irish point to pointer, now with a new yard.

The trainer is Donald McCain Jr. Mr McCain is sending one horse all the way down from Merseyside for an 8.25 bumper and is putting Jason Maguire on it. They won't be home til gone 1am and that seems to me to be a right pain in the backside, let alone costing a few quid for a 14k horse in its first proper race.

Clondaw Hero is 4/1.

Does this not look like it should be a really good shout for a win?

Well, that was rather odd.

Well know hold up horse ridden wide with no cover. Final furlong sees several jockeys tickling their rides in the final furlong, leaving the popular Martin Dwyer, who is just about to lose his job for 8 months due to some dodgy ruling in India, given an "after you" passage.mmm

ho hum

Yelena Isinbeyeva wins her third World Pole Vault Championship. Incredible athlete and a lot of pressure on her today to perform.

My guess would be there is potential buyer in the Stratford area and McCain wants to show the produce to him first hand.

The information you've spotted is available to everyone and he's still the price he is.

Someone knows something somewhere, I doubt he's the second coming of Sprinter Sacre.

So hard. Card looks so tough to me, when Romford is on sky the track is always fast so need to be in front even more so than normal. Maybe recommend Millford @6-1+ in 8.04, surely overpriced

Maybe red in first at 12/1 to make all. Can't have 6, can win 10 lengths and I can't have the dog, horrible punting proposition that puts an effort in when it wants- some reckon its 10x better off the front which makes sense but I've seen it throw a shocker in from the front as well, so would never even bet it with counterfeit
