First, the winners
In no particular order
* Belgian journeyman Franck Moussa, once of Southend and Leicester City, netted for Coventry very early in thier comprehensive win at Brunton Park for a profit of £67 for ChipRich
* The Catalan Dragons pulled away in the last quarter to beat Wigan 22-8 for a profit of £30 for Hector92
* Wie and Lang won a Soleheim Cup foursome for another £70 for Henrik777
* Azharullah took the most wickets for Northants in their T20 semi for +£50 for myself
* Dandino won at Arlington for +£9.99 for horseplayer
* Barker won in the boxing for +£68.80 for Bazzaboy
It was though a very tough day with a cascade of losers elsewhere
The T20 cricket was a loss, with Essex failing in the semis and all four openers in the other semi-final failing
No luck on the horses, though Soft Rain Falling finished second giving anothet three free bets for use this week
Hoillett of QPR went in the fetlock, and failed to score
Munoz and Icher lost at the Solheim Cup
Cleverly could not have been less aptly named in the Boxing
Lauzon lost in the UFC
Still, a loss of under £60 with that carnage going on for most of the day almost feels like a top result!
In football, not too many of the long term bets have started with a bang, except Watford are 2nd in the Championship after a 3-3 thriller and Reading and in League 1 Wells and Assombacongalonga are vying for the Golden Boot, each with 3 goals in 3 games. Kidderminster are top six in the Conference, Barnsley got their first point of the season...so not all doom and gloom.
In baseball, the Rays lost and the Red Sox won...
At the Wyndham, no hole in one and we have £60 riding on that with a round to come. Stroud has faded, a 73 yesterday takes him to Sunday nine shots behind
Pressel looks an unlikely Solheim Cup ponts winner unless she wins a single and the US are otherwise routed
Wayne Rooney is still at Manchester United
Prepare for red ink today, unless we get some good ideas to compensate...no pressure....
