The PDC bet makes sense on those fixtures

I am about the only person who thinks he will do well, to say the signings are unproven is very questionable.

One of whom was voted in the top 3 players at the confed cup and has numerous Italian caps.

Watching the highlights i thought they played fine last week and have actually backed them very small away at Southampton, prices look a bit over reaction to one game Southampton are not a top 10 side yet but are priced as such today.

Great to see Ali Carter playing on Eurosport 2 in the Paul Hunter Classic. An acute poignancy to that. Good to see him back and firing.

Meanwhile, raining in Spa.

Giroud scores. Bookies have one favourite scoring already. Would rather they hadn't.

My views on the Sunderland - PDC thing.

That list of fixtures is horrendous. But surely, the Board must recognize that ANY "also-ran" Team, such as Sunderland, will strugle to get many points from those games? They have committed to him, spent millions, it would make no sense to can PDC that quick just because the fixtures computer was cruel.

He might implode, of course, yes. I have a strange feeling that, if up against it, it might be cometh the hour, cometh the man, & he'll dig in.  And I am pretty sure that there will be no passengers in his team. No chance of that, PDC would have them shot.

Hoping he gets a hatful and Bald Fred loses a goodly amount...

I'm really struggling for time right now, & trying to wade through that flurry of horse racing stuff.

Sorry guys, may have to miss some, unless the Elders back them up strongly.

Did we agree anything on "Mister Impatience"? Looks decent, but no idea what prices were thought acceptable.

Currently 11/2.

I'm unsure as to its value now that it's not so easily comparable to the betfair place price as they are top 4 rather than top 3.  I think it's a by far the best place to do the bet compared to any other bookmakers.  But weather or not it's true value I can't answer , and im guessing by the lack of replies that none of the math guys think it's that good.

Not aftertiming I hope but...

I bet that Mister Impatience (smallish) at what is now 7/1 after Rule 4. At 11/2 I'm indifferent, I would maybe back it at 6/1 and at 9/2 I would probably lay it.

I have played at Goodwood though...

Thanks.

Agree, there has not been much feedback, which suggests lack of enthusiasm. No point putting the bet on and then getting told we got it round our necks.

Do you mind asking if you think it's value betting it each way with totesport at 1/4 odds whereas everyone bar 365 are 1/5 odds, taking into consideration you get money back as a free bet if it finishes second on top? Assuming its 11/2 there still and not far off the betfair price?

Ahh, at last, help incoming.

Thanks Neil.

On the Grump-Meter, Mister Impatience is currently "indifferent" then (11/2).

We shall sit on our hands for the moment.
