Not aftertiming I hope but...

I bet that Mister Impatience (smallish) at what is now 7/1 after Rule 4. At 11/2 I'm indifferent, I would maybe back it at 6/1 and at 9/2 I would probably lay it.

I have played at Goodwood though...

Sorry I missed the Goodwood bet. Can someone please reiterate?

Just read back through the last 2 or 3 pages, it is all there.

I'm a stubborn man and I rarely learn my lesson so I'm going to have a crack at another of thse poor value 16-20 runner handicaps. I've actually bet 3 horses each-way in the 19-runner 2.55 at Goodwood.

I'm aware that the course are interested in lying to the betting public about the rain in order to not discourage the poor bastards who go to Goodwood and pay the enormous prices to get in. They say 4m of rain and that would mean the going would stay at good, good/firm places.

 I'm assuming good, good/soft.

I'll allow those canny bookies the chance that we get 4 non-runners on the ground change. Good luck to them.

The race is a low draw race imo which makes it interesting as many of the shorter-priced runners are drawn high and I have eliminated them.

Sadly those drawn v low are not ones I fancy too much.

I thought Head of Steam, Jack's Revenge and Galacian were alright. I am against Glen Moss which was gifted a race last week by some tactically unaware/corrupt (delete as applicable) four foot fellas.

I didn't fancy trying to get on 6 in the race so I stuck with three.

My smaller bet was Loving Spirit which is a middle draw, ran it's best race at Ascot last time over this trip and is a winner over the trip. I took 12/1. It is now only 10/1 so you'll have to miss that one.

Fred should do my other two bets though (I think)...

My middle sized bet was Magic City. I took 6/1. It is 13/2 on Betfair to win but I was happy with 6/1 as the 6/4 the place is great. It is 5/4 on Betfair. I really like this one and could easily see it going off 4/1. It also ran it's best race last time, the jockey obv loves Goodwood and considers this one of his strobgest rides there, it has won on course and distance and on the ground.

Really hard to see it being out of the four. Recommend £40 ew at 6/1.

My biggest bet was on Excellent Guest. I really like George Margason. He's an unfashionable stable who is in form which is something I love, the horse is a distance winner, it ran it's best race last time and the stable won this one last year with a similar type.

I thought 28/1 was great. It's 32-34 on Betfair which means we are "giving away" 0.5% on the win but we are gaining around 3% on the place.

 I recommend £50 each-way at 28/1.

You can get those prices with Hills.

Note that we have - had - Cristofor Colombo (sp?) in the first at Goodwood.. In fact we bet it twice.

It is a NON-RUNNER.

Use one for Webber now then. Just finished above Vettel and on third row.

One lap each left...if he does well, think this is a bet

Can we deduce any going indications from the first at Goodwood?

Think one jockey might be having a difficult conversation in the next few minutes...
