Need another National Hunt racing festival IMO.
Sun Alliances Novice Hurdle imo.
Jeez, I cacked myself that day.
The Boys knew what they were doing though. And that is why, sometimes, I have to put "blind faith" in what they say.
To most of us though, intuitively, betting so many horses in one race seemed illogical.
Now we know a little better, I hope.
If it helps, I'll say you hid your emotions very well and no one had the slightest idea you were worried about the amount of money at risk in one horse race.
That isn't true, but I'll say it if it helps.

Daily Report
Profit on the Month £752.74
Outstanding Bets £2577.06
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=28
The travails of Sunday were cast aside as Monday saw a £220 profit from two bets, both on Manchester United v Chelsea on the Bet 365 offer. 12/5 on the draw and 10/1 on no goal-scorer both coming in, albeit the latter was not in the size requested, which seemed strange as the whole thrust of the offer in the marketing is to match the original bet as a free bet
Anyway, tactically the teams cancelled each other out, defences were mostly on top and for the £220 there was comparatively little sweat.
Elsewhere yesterday, Nadal cruised through his US Open first round match in straight sets whilst Dan Evans beat the 11th seed in one of the biggest Brit Grand Slam upsets in recent times.
In baseball the Kansas City Royals and the Tampa Bay Rays played a game that was postponed from earlier in the year. The Royals have been ona bad run, losing 7 of 7 to fall away in the AL Central and condemn our bet on them to forgotten status, but last night they pulverised the Rays 11-1. Not a good result for the AL East bet, but tomorrow's another day in the battle with the Boston Red Sox.
I would say the news on the Rooney to stay bet bet is getting better. He put it in on the pitch last night and the Mourniho vibes last night were that Rooney was staying, unless he put in a fresh transfer request. Mixed signals from Moyes on the Bale front, but Madrid remain 1/6 to sign him this week so Dubai's bet should soon be live
Napoli did not play yesterday.
Why does it seem strange that Tony couldn't get on the whole amount of the free bet?
A restricted account is the very last account the offer is aimed at!
He's lucky to be able to get as much a free £10 on, most firms ban accounts from offers when they restrict them.
Baffles me that we have so many sports and gambling experts on this thread, but no one seems to understand the nuts and bolts of restricting accounts!

because of the whole thrust of the marketing, to all accounts, is to match the first stake on the second bet....
Bet365 want their cake and to then eat it, whilst denying the restricted punter a slice. I understand why, but it makes the marketing disingenuous.

Baffles me that we have so many sports and gambling experts on this thread, but no one seems to understand the nuts and bolts of restricting accounts!
It baffled me, too, because, it seemed to me that if they offer the "£50 with £50" Promo & accept the FIRST £50, then it seemed natural to expect them to accept the second £50.
I expected the first £50 to be Restricted. Once they accepted that, I felt they were obliged to take the 2nd £50.
I NOW understand why, of course, as we have debated it, & you hacked my account to suss out my Limits.
I don't know THAT much about "Restricted Accounts" but I know a good deal more than you might think as to how & why folks get Restricted. But I STILL can't suss how you know the PRECISE limit a random can bet on Bet365. How could you possibly know the "normal" limit was £6,000?
From there, of course, it is easy to suss 10%, 5%, 1% etc, but the original figure still puzzles me. All Firms set that Limit independently, & differently. My Limits at various Firms varies. So how could you know I could get £600 on that game?
The answer is obvious. You've hacked my Account to see what I've been punting. You have.

All the free stuff isn't aimed at winning punters, it's aimed at luring ice creams to bet with them.
I actually think it's rather sporting of them to let restricted punters to have any slice of the cake at all.
Most bookmakers wouldn't.

Don't want to be all Rachael Riley, but if 1% is £600, the whole is £60,000.
Seems a lot to me for them to lay on a match bet, but that's what the post says.

very fair offer despite my misgivings last night re the website
As Camel says most firms would not let winning accounts have any kind of any offer even ones which are significantly worse than the 365 offer.

Yes
Being pedantic though, if you are going to restrict, don't allow the restricted punter the first £50 then restrict him on the second part, that's the disingenuous bit as you are happy for him to have £50 but not to benefit from the maths/attractiveness of the offer ...restrict him up front

Actually, on reflection, if there is a three horse race and the bookies have all three priced up nicely, with a healthy overround, they want as much money in as possible, I suppose.
It is more if someone says "I want 60k on Random Wanderers in the PrittStick Northern Division 4 to score in the 34th minute" that they might fancy declining politely.

They lay a win max about each outcome, and in a Premier League football match 6 days before kickoff it is obviously £10,000.
On the day of the game, that will double.
I chose Man City because they were 1/6 and you would be able to get a decent sized bet on them.
For effect if you like.
This is me hoping I'd guessed right:

Jolly good show, say I.

But he could get the full £50 on, he just chose the wrong market.
I'm the last person to defend bookmakers usually, but really don't think Bet365 have done anything wrong apart from give lots of free money away!
