Don't want to be all Rachael Riley, but if 1% is £600, the whole is £60,000.

Seems a lot to me for them to lay on a match bet, but that's what the post says.

No chance of you being mistaken.......she is attractive, funny and shuts up occasionally..x

I more than make up for it in banter and persistence.

Dear Chompy

I wonder how long bookmakers will continue to offer odds against Peterborough to score 2+ goals at home?

They are again tonight 5/4 2+ v Reading, though this is SkyBet so thread can ignore

When the markets for this game populate, would you be playing overs, and if so how?

Any thoughts on Peterborough team selection? I know Reading have goals in them....

Thank you.

Our home performances haven't matched what we've done on the road this season. We were ordinary against a slick Swindon side and lucky to get a win against Oldham. Conversely, we've trashed Notts, Colch and Trannies away.

There's a lot of expectation this season and so far a few of the players have deinitely looked better away, especially Tyrone Barnett.

We play Reading every season it seems in a Cup and have had some cracking games against them. We'll probably score tonight but I wouldn't be going nuts on the overs. Same at home to Crawley on Saturday. The Creepies were v v unlucky not to get anything at Wolves last weekend. If anything I'd be looking to back them at 5/1 at the weekend.

The likely changes tonight are Kgosi being given a rest at left-back, Alcock switching over there and Little coming in at right-back. That won't weaken us at all. Also, Payne will play instead of McCann. Same thing, won't weaken us.

Darragh has said he wants a cup run this season but Poshies haven't been up for this comp for a while, so tonight's game is just a watcher for me.

Baffles me that we have so many sports and gambling experts on this thread, but no one seems to understand the nuts and bolts of restricting accounts!

I guess it helps to have actually seen the back end systems and the box where you stick the "0.01" into!

Always used to amuse me when I came across accounts that had been altered to a number greater than 1  Smiley

Btw I don't think it's that rare to restrict on sports - quite often someone would have a tiny limit on something like greyhounds but be allowed to carry on in other areas of the site where they had shown no specialist knowledge.  Maybe the traders just got lazier these days and blanket restrict anyone showing half a clue.

Good job I still enjoy chucking a fiver at correct score multiples most weekends - must be rubber stamped MUG despite all the TFT wagers flooding the accounts in the last year.

Depends which teams you think are motivated to have a run at it

for example

Hull travel to Orient, a few days before Man City away. Not sure Hull would be in my acca, from a "are they motivated?" standpoint....

I remember at Blue Squirrel we had a couple of punters who had 10 typed in that little box!

I really don't see why anyone should be restricted on stuff like Premier League football, the Derby, Open Golf main market etc.

I can think of quite a few people I wouldn't take a fiver of their bets on an evening meeting at Kempton but they are complete ice creams on the football.

Doubt many of the firms are bothered to put enough research into it these days though and if anyone shows they have a clue, they are restricted.

Our "second" account had £200 on a horse that went off 3/1 when we took 8/1 and won and is now on the 1% stuff, but was in female name and no history so was always gonna be the case

Virgil Van Dijk effect

Celtic v Unspellable opponents

Giant defender turns slower than me and has a hamstring niggle

However had a good scoring record in Holland (so did Altidore and my milkman but still) and more importantly in the first leg had two free headers and even took a direct free kick 20 yards out (went miles over but anyway)

The opponents in the first leg seemed to have never defended a set piece ever before and it looked a bit alien to them.

I expected him to be priced up around the 20-1 first mark and about 7-1 anytime.

Bookies vary some going 16-1 first a lot 20-1 a few 25-1 and Hills dangle the 33's and 12's anytime

He was 33-1 top priced first leg and the match odds have Celtic massive odds on chances for this leg and hills have not adjusted the price.

I am sure both are to big and have just had a tenner on each at my local Hills (Cashier thought he was a ufc fighter)

Excuse my ignorance, but that is the Celtic game in the CL, yes?

I watched the first leg and agree that the other team looked very very suspect at defending corners. I backed the two central defenders in play on that occasion. Definitely worth backing horseplayer's selection.
