@skysportsnews

Sky sources: Wayne Rooney will not hand in a transfer request

@skysportsnews

Gareth Bale has just bought a pint of milk and a sandwich at his local BP

(One of these has just been tweeted, which I reckon could be that, positively, for a thread bet)

Virgil Van Dijk effect

Celtic v Unspellable opponents

Giant defender turns slower than me and has a hamstring niggle

However had a good scoring record in Holland (so did Altidore and my milkman but still) and more importantly in the first leg had two free headers and even took a direct free kick 20 yards out (went miles over but anyway)

The opponents in the first leg seemed to have never defended a set piece ever before and it looked a bit alien to them.

I expected him to be priced up around the 20-1 first mark and about 7-1 anytime.

Bookies vary some going 16-1 first a lot 20-1 a few 25-1 and Hills dangle the 33's and 12's anytime

He was 33-1 top priced first leg and the match odds have Celtic massive odds on chances for this leg and hills have not adjusted the price.

I am sure both are to big and have just had a tenner on each at my local Hills (Cashier thought he was a ufc fighter)

How much would you suggest for Fred?

£15 first £20 anytime

quite big for a goalscorer high variance bet but this is a small rick imo

Love it. Think Bale's agent needs to have a word with his client about the likelihood of a strip being successful. That is if any of this is true.

I see the traditionally weaker Premiership teams are introduced to the Capital Cup tonite, are these weaker teams worth a roll up please, footie guys?.....

Depends which teams you think are motivated to have a run at it

for example

Hull travel to Orient, a few days before Man City away. Not sure Hull would be in my acca, from a "are they motivated?" standpoint....

I would have though Hull are okay, as they probably think they have no chance at City?  I'd be more wary about backing Saints or Norwich for example who play each other at Carrow Road on Saturday and will both be very much targeting 3 points?

Fancy the ref might be watching closely. He's been known to go down a bit easily:

Correction.

adnmdv, aka Cheerful Charlie.

VERY knowledgeable, actually, or I thought so. I somehow imagined him in real life as someone who never smiled. Probably completely unfair of me. Never recommended a single bet, but ripped everyone else's.

Or were you thinking of Chompy?

Hills have priced up Celtic players to score as if they were odds against to win and not 1/4 nearly every player will be value at those prices.
 If the prices hold after team news(which I don't think they will) it would be worth backing a couple more.
