Hills have priced up Celtic players to score as if they were odds against to win and not 1/4 nearly every player will be value at those prices.
If the prices hold after team news(which I don't think they will) it would be worth backing a couple more.

agreed

just about to post a similar thing actually

It baffled me, too, because, it seemed to me that if they offer the "£50 with £50" Promo & accept the FIRST £50, then it seemed natural to expect them to accept the second £50.

I expected the first £50 to be Restricted. Once they accepted that, I felt they were obliged to take the 2nd £50.

I NOW understand why, of course, as we have debated it, & you hacked my account to suss out my Limits.

I don't know THAT much about "Restricted Accounts" but I know a good deal more than you might think as to how & why folks get Restricted. But I STILL can't suss how you know the PRECISE limit a random can bet on Bet365. How could you possibly know the "normal" limit was £6,000?

From there, of course, it is easy to suss 10%, 5%, 1% etc, but the original figure still puzzles me. All Firms set that Limit independently, & differently. My Limits at various Firms varies. So how could you know I could get £600 on that game?

The answer is obvious. You've hacked my Account to see what I've been punting. You have.

Have they told you that you are restricted?  When they started restricting me they phoned me and said I wasn't eligible for any future offers.

I wonder whether they like their offers being publicised on a website where lots of people who are likely to have a gamble can see them, so restricting the amount Tikay can bet is better than preventing Tikay from betting with them.

Not like these places have no idea Fred exists.

Tiger Cliff looking unlikely for The Ces.

Fav option seems to be a Stayers race on Champions Day the week after, and Ponsonby the owner looking at Lt Miller being his Ces rep.

No Likey!

Funnily, I was going to post the exact same. Always a threat.

Yuh, Listed race then back to hurdles looks the favoured option. Don't undertand it myself. In other potentially bad news for threadites, Harry Redknapp is a fan of Nikhi Nakhi and wants to bring the boy to QPR for free mill-yan.

Back to Poshies v Royals, both sides have scored 11 goals in their last three League Cup matches. Old-woman Adkins is expected to ring the changes for tonight, so there could well be plenty of goals. Still a no-bet for me though.

The Rabo Pro 12 (Rugby) will be kicking off soon and there may be a bit of mileage in a season long try scorer bet.

The Cardiff Arms Park, home of the Blues, has had an artificial pitch layed for this season. The old pitch was notorious for becoming a bog in the winter months and the traditional Xmas Derbys were a lottery (see video).

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/23775293

With mud baths a thing of the past I can see the flair players at the Blues scoring more than normal. Their biggest threat (literally) is Alex Cuthbert who I'm sure you will remember from the Lions tour. He is currently 9/1, Paddy Power (10s with Sky) to be top try scorer this season. I can see him scoring quite a few more over the winter months and bumping his 13 trys in 19 games record to closer to one a game. The only downfall is he will be away on Welsh duty for three months but I think he can run up a few trys before that starts.

Tim Visser has been top scorer the last two seasons but he is now playing for Scotland having completed his residency so will be in the same boat.

I've had £25 for a season long sweat.

This starts on the 6th September if you're interested?

ok i would like too recommend a value bet on tomorrows nights celtic game
i know there has already been a recommendation for FGS due too an abnormal
but i think i have spotted another rick in the bookies prices

scott brown is a shade under 10.0 on betfair with a few bookmakers having him out at 17.0
betfred is offering a special if he is the FGS then goes onto score a 2nd they will double the odds
if he scores a hattrick they will treble it
if he is fit he is a certain starter and with celtic needing goals he will be used in an attacking midfield role
if he isnt fit we get our money back
he is 3.75 on 365 too score anytime and 5.0 on betfair

i would like too recommend £5 FGS on scott brown @17.0 or above on betfred

would love the celtic brigade and the elders too dissect my thoughts please

Virgil Van Dijk effect

Celtic v Unspellable opponents

Giant defender turns slower than me and has a hamstring niggle

However had a good scoring record in Holland (so did Altidore and my milkman but still) and more importantly in the first leg had two free headers and even took a direct free kick 20 yards out (went miles over but anyway)

The opponents in the first leg seemed to have never defended a set piece ever before and it looked a bit alien to them.

I expected him to be priced up around the 20-1 first mark and about 7-1 anytime.

Bookies vary some going 16-1 first a lot 20-1 a few 25-1 and Hills dangle the 33's and 12's anytime

He was 33-1 top priced first leg and the match odds have Celtic massive odds on chances for this leg and hills have not adjusted the price.

I am sure both are to big and have just had a tenner on each at my local Hills (Cashier thought he was a ufc fighter)

Two of the things I took out of the game last week were to back Van Dijk FGS and ATS until the price was adjusted and to back method of 1st goal as a header at over 7/2 in the return leg. Unfortunately no one seems to be pricing up that market.

I never bet really, so feel free to ignore my thoughts, and I hope im proven to be wrong.

Van Dick is terrible, I think if i was offered 100/1 on any time then I wouldn't see it as value. His first few games with Celtic haven't inspired me at all. He struggles to notice where his own goal is, let alone the oppositions. Same for Lustig, Think he has score 2 or 3 goals for Celtic, despite being a striker earlier in his career, he looks woeful at set pieces, and rarely causes a threat. I'm not even sure both will start tomorrow. Hoping matthews does, and i think Ambrose will, so they two both won't fit in.

Brown would def have a better chance of scoring first, but he won't. Would rather back Ledley ( don't know his price, but would imagine similar?)

Cliffs: Van Dick will score first, from a flick on by Lustig. Smiley

Scott Brown is 13-2 biggest to score any time. Oddschecker is your friend Iron.

Not sure if Scott Brown is their main penalty taker, but he has certainly scored a few pens in the past. Would help matters!

There is no strong market on Betfair at the minute, so you can't use it as a guide.  Someone is offering just less than 10, somebody else wants less than 20.  Whilst the fact this is a game that Crltic are strong favourites should mean first goalscorer odds may be too long, the Betfair market is no real help in seeing this.

FWIW he scores about 1 game in 9 normally, so 5.0 looks to already reflect the nature of the game, and 16 FGS doesn't look like a massive rick.  Sure a fiver isn't an issue though!

That 2nd and 3rd goal bonus isn't going to add much to those that don't score frequently, but may add quite a bit of value to short priced players in matches against whipping boys*.  I haven't seem the Betfair offer, is it definitely on the exchange?

* most genuine whipping boys don't win home legs 2-0
