Very very confused.

I bet one of the rugby games last night and can't find out which one or where? I guess it must be the wrong one as I see no change in most front line accounts.

I think Hector's lost, but Marky is doing the Bartman and saying he must only bet Hector. The kinboshi one wins but he is not on it and people are mad at him even tho it won?

Can someone clear up that lot please?

Then I switch to the CBB thread to find Chompy debating if he should swap his position from a Geordie bet wetter to a child prodigy boy who is now a welsh Buddhist woman........oh dear.

Okay this is my first bet I have put up here but I think its a cracker.

Tomorrow St Mirren v Partick Thistle in the SPFL.

Partick Thistle are 15/8 with many firms including Laddies Coral and Skybet.

St Mirren have scored 1 goal so far this season, lost 7.
They lost to QOTS in midweek and morale is very Low.
No new players have arrived and really cant see them get any chance tomorrow.

Partick Thistle have scored 7 and lost 4
fantastic going forward and were unlucky last Week against a very decent Motherwell Team 1-0 (should have scored several in the 2nd half).
Lost a very late goal v Hearts to draw 1-1 2 weeks ago.
Morale is very high.

I would suggest £20 bet but would like opinions of the footie guru's.

Thanks.
Bump.   Think this one needs some love.

Daily Report

Profit on the Month £764.55

Outstanding Bets £3079.05

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=28

A loss of £60 yesterday

In the afternoon both of the William Hill offer horses came in for a £40 profit. However St Helens' loss accounted for half of that and then we had the Welsh Open Golf where 5 of the 7 selected golfers did not make the weekend. Two of the five, Dubuisson and Howell withdrew, three missed the cut, for losses of £60

In the Welsh Open Golf our two men standing are Jacquelin, -1 and T11 and Aguilar +2 and T47

Better news in Boston where in the Deutsche Bank Mickelson opened with a -8 63 to lead. We have 14/1

Westwood -5, Z Johnson -2 and Bradley -2 also had reasonable starts

Unfortunately Adam Scott had a poor round by the standards of the rest of the field, +2 and is off the pace at this early stage

In baseball the Rays lost a narrow one to the Oakland A's. the siginifance of this is that the A's now overtake the Rays as the leading wildcard team - two wild card teams make the play offs, essentially the two best non-division winners. Boston won again, and it is all rather hairy, as it tends to seem when a team loses a bit of form and others surge around them.

In cricket Middlesex duly lost with their coach Angus Fraser describing their batting effort as "completely unacceptable" We concur. Still all is not lost. In the top 5 Durham and Yorkshire are playing and Sussex and Warwickshire are currently playing. Any result possible in those matches. If we can squeak a draw in one of them, then an each way return is still on. Will need better form from Middlesex in the run in though

In LVCC2 Northants won their game by an innings, and with our bet being e/w top 3 at 20-1 we are prety much nailed on for something back as Northants are nearly 50 points clear of 4th though once Lancs finish off Hampshire today they will be one win away from the title

We have bets on Hampshire to win LVCC2 and Durham to finish bottom of LVCC1. Today is probably the day that these have to be taken as losses, if Lancashire win and Surrey fail to win, neither of those two bets will be possible winners

Morning Darren, hope you & yours are are well. Did you play the APAT thing last weekend? Enjoy?

Not forgotten this bet - I placed it last night, & will Post the details shortly.

Had a bit of a difficult day yesterday, (ditto Tighty) with some awkward stuff, & I just wanted to chill last night, so I placed the 2 bets - this one, & the Europa Leaguue one - on my Ippy whilst slouched in front of the TV, & never had the energy to fire up the lappie to do the "official" replies.

Had a nice evening though, Kinboshi gave us a cracking bet, so I had a Dubai Triple Super Max.

"....Come on the Rice Owls. The Who? Rice play Texas A and M today in NCAA week one, and are 27 point underdogs..."

For those who wondered what that is about, or who want to follow progress, we have a Season bet AGAINST Texas A & M.

Probably not an ideal betting medium today, but in this 2 horse game, you can get 18/1 Rice, or 1/100 (!) A & M.

Sounds like a licence to print money to me.

Any views, Kinboshi?

Cheers Tikay, first of all I've a suggested bet for the Europa League.

Italian sides do not take this competition seriously yet bookies continue to price them up on the merit of their squad.
No Italian side has made the final this millennium.
The last Italian semi finalist was in 2007/08.
Since then 1 Italian side has made the quarter finals (Lazio last season).
Last season the 4 Italian sides finished 1st, 2nd, 2nd and 4th in the group stages.

This season only Lazio and Fiorentina are in the group stages, both are odds on to win their group. In Fiorentina's group are Dnipro, a side I occasionally backed last season. They play in the underrated Ukranian league and won last season's group with 15 points to Napoli's 9.

Personally I'd make Dnipro slight faves and would blindly backed 2-1. The standout best price of 4-1 available on this will not last.

Suggested bet £50 @4-1 on Dnipro to win Group E with Coral http://www.oddschecker.com/football/europa-league/europa-league-group-e/winner

Good morning Mr McG.

We got on this last night, almost the moment you Posted it, thank you, & just as well we did - last night's recopmmended 4/1 is now 3/1 best, generally 9/4, even 2/1 in a few spots. Tremerndous value spot in what seems like a 2 horse race.

In fact, most Firms have not moved their prices, but Coral were miles ool, & have now gone from 4/1 to 11/4.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/europa-league/europa-league-group-e/winner

The current Betfair quote, in an admittedly barely formed market, is 5/2.

Really excellent spot. I know nothing of Europa League football of course, but that is so far ool, it is a licence to pr..... - oh wait, we've done that to death.

We have £50 @ 4/1, Corals, Dnipro (who?) to win Group E, Europa League.

Poor old Boshi, after a lapse on the board he is going to be known as that 'kin Boshi from now on.  We just need to start getting the apostrophes in the right place.

Morning Mr Fistle,

Automatically ON, for your debut bet. We placed this last evening, using the profits from Kinboshi's RL corker.

Not sure I'd be on it, the logic used here always worries me ("Team A lost 10 in a row, Team B won 10 in a row" sorta thing), but I think the price may be just a smidgen high. We would not be backing them away from home at much less, I fancy.

Anyway, Darren Shrewd Judge Shallis liked it too, & we've speculated £20, as suggested.

Good luck!

£20 @ 15/8, BetVictor, Parick Thistle to whup St Mirren.

Thanks horsey. I was just going on the price disparity, but pleased to hear you think they are a decent Team. I never even knew they played football in Ukraine.

Fred Hall of Shame

At an Emergency Meeting of the Fred Hall of Shame last night, Kinboshi was unanimously elected.

He was charged with....

Proposing a bet.

Saying it was a licence to print money.

Omitting to inform us he changed his mind, thus sending King Camel & others busto with impunity.

Making a lame attempt to talk himself out of it, by blaming hector.

Rubbing salt into the wound - "good effort guys"

He joins Fred Hall of Shame Life President Eso Kral, & Permanent Member "don't see many goals tonight" Chompy.

Congrats to Kinboshi.
