Anything to do with the Ladbrokes and Coral websites running like treacle most of the time?

There was an interesting article in The Sunday Times a few weeks back about the cost of Ladbrokes "new" website being almost unusable at times

Coral is the worst of them all, sometimes I can't even add things to the betslip. The only way I resolve it, is to logout and then back in. Very infuriating, especially when it causes you to miss a price!

Exactly the same here. Try using Mozilla Firefox.

Ladbrokes have me massively restricto-ed on the webshite but, if I ring, sometimes they'll take the bet, sometimes they won't.

A strange state of affairs. I wouldn't bother online, though, just get on the dog. See if you can catch the right 'trader' in the right mood.

Crystal Palace sign Jack Hunt from Huddersfield. Four-year deal.
11:45

That's one in the book. Liverpool three so far. Anyone bar Palace likely to beat that?

As I said above, in case you missed it, all Palace fans thought this was confirmed on Saturday, as the news broke of it then, that being confirmed today is a complete and utter freebie. A shame Kebe actually signed before today when he was actually announced at the same time as Hunt!

Ladbrokes and Hills are offering their free bet if 2nd on the mobile at Hamilton again today.  From here it makes no sense, but i can't see the internal numbers. There must be enough people clicking through the casino and using free bets badly to make this a success for them.

Les Gar Gan in the first looks a must bet in the 14.10 at 11/8 with Hills.

The 15.40 looks like a can't lose race if you back either of the top 2.  3 horses and one looks absolutely dreadful.  We can't miss?  Laddies and Hills have both ducked the best price noticeably but with best price guaranteed I am not sure they can do much.  Don't back both with the same bookie.

Thanks Dr D.

We have £25 @ 5/4 (BOG), Wm Hill, Les Gar Gan, 2.10 Hamilton, FREE £25 BET IF 2nd

think doobs wss saying in the 3.40 you need to back the top 2 horses one at one bookie and one at the other that was you get a winner and a free bet as the 3rd horse will still be running this time tomorrow

I may have  misread it, but he said.....

a can't lose race if you back either of the top 2

And  Don't back both with the same bookie I took to mean the 2.10 & 15.40 races.

David Ornstein, BBC Sport
OZIL TO ARSENAL
"Arsenal have agreed a 50m euros deal with Real Madrid to sign Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil.

"The 24-year-old has agreed personal terms and will now undergo a medical.

"The medical will take place in Germany, where Ozil is on international duty."

I meant don't back the first and second favourite with the same bookie, but I guess it is better to split the bets one to each bookie, so no harm done.  It is often said that these could cost accounts.  I have probably put at lease double the numbver of bets through Hills than thread has, as I can't use Ladbrokes, and I haven't seen any restrictions yet.

FWIW You really could bet both the first and second favourite in that race and make money.  They'd have to really shorten the prices on course for that not to happen.  And if they did, we could probably have a field day on Betfair!

Viviano from Palermo too

Quite like a 4-2-3-1 with Walcott, Ozil, Cazorla prompting Giroud

Wilshere and Arteta in behind

Nasty centre half now required, before midnight....

Gotcha, will now go & do the 2nd fav with Wm Hill, as I did the fav with Ladbrokes.

As to Wm Hill generally, like you, I use them a LOT for off-thread stuff, & I'm wholly unrestricted. I mix it up with them, bit of everything, & not always "Best Price". Very User-Friendly site, works clean & fast, easy to find stuff.

Doobs, 3:40 Hamilton is now a 3 horse race as one of he favs is a non runner, makes fav odds on with the next 2-1 and the 3rd is 22-1, I presume this is now an even more so of a bet on the first 2 as earlier the favs were both 6/5, although I see Tikay is on at 4/11 so must of bet after the other fav was taken out. Does that make sense?

After about 20 years they just closed my account without telling me and refused to discuss it. 'Trading decision' and when I asked to speak to the person who made the decision I was told that they are not 'customer facing'.
