Macanthony is the only thing that keeps me watching
sees through all the hype and says what he thinks a rare thing on sky
Sitting next to Quinn for 4 hours would be enough to finish most people
I wondered who that was, I thought he was a lot better than some of the people that have been on today.

Well, I bet Mr Kinnear is looking forward to putting his feet up until it all starts again in January.

Man United were represented by imposters during the Bilbao talks
not quite sure how that happens but it appears it did
Daniel Taylor Guardian reporter
""I think we're going to hear a lot more about this in the coming days. The details are a bit sketchy but I've just had it confirmed from Old Trafford that the people who were in Spain, apparently negotiating on their behalf for Ander Herrera, were not sent there by the club and can accurately be described as 'impostors'.
Who on earth they were, no idea. But clearly they were trying to get in on the deal and it has ended in embarrassment for everyone. I get the feeling United are furious.
Their official explanation is that they simply couldn't persuade Bilbao to bring down the buyout clause and it was as straightforward as that (even though there is a clause, it doesn't mean the potential buyer has to meet it). However, there have clearly been all sorts of fun and games going on in the background and it's an embarrassment, to say the least.""

Hilarious that they wouldn't meet the Herrera clause but have ended up paying £3.5mil more than Fellaini's earlier buy out clause. Absolute farce at United. £27.5mil for Fellani is an incredible overpayment. Complete panic buying.

Liverpool and Palace the top signers with 3 each on the day? Apparently though Palace might have snagged a 4th.
