Just been on hills chat to check that the potential returns amount was correct, and thought i might inform them that their competitors say there is no rule 4.  The guy told me that he can confirm my bet was placed at 8/1 - when i said i know that, i wanted to know if there was any rule 4 deductions, he told me that he can't tell me and i'l have to wait until the race has finished and the bet is settled lol

It's a secret!

Is it possible that they're all trying to give the best deal possible on this race and not doing a R4?

Don't think any more of those at the top of the market will come out because of the ground. Reckless Abadon with withdrawn coz of being lame, not the weather.

Does anyone know anything about hurling?  I just got a call from a guy i like to talk bets with (not for information as he is even more recreational than i am) and he has been on holiday in Portugal.

Anyway apparently he met up with the Clare team who play Cork on Sunday, they havent beaten Cork for x amount of years (i have forgotten what he said) but they were certain they would win this time, currently best priced at 11/8 :

I didn't think to ask at the time if they were all getting pissed up for the past two weeks or it was a training camp, but i've just sent him a message to ask.  If they were all on a jolly doesn't seem like a good bet to me but he seems absolutely certain that these guys playing will, as they have been telling him, win.

To be honest I think Scotland at 9/2 r so isn't bad value.  Belgium have both central defenders out in Kompany and Vermalen.  Belgium are massive talking horses to my mind and I could never back them at this kind of price.

Very good twitter account i follow who bets on a variety of markets, but seems to be hugely profitable at card betting suggested two anytime cards tonight in this game, whittaker at 7/2 and martin at 9/2.  Not recommends from me but if you were looking for a bet you could do worse.

I should add a rider to this that I have never been able to win on international games.

Fred might not back in play but I like Wales £5 @11/1. 1-0 down atm 35 mins in, but they have been really unlucky and knocking the ball around well and have been dominant and were unlucky with the goal.
