Prices already up for the Tour Championship?

Although only 16th, I still think we should persevere with our Jordan Speith experiment and in what looks to these eyes, on current form a weaker field of 30 he is still available at 33s.

Pretty sure Luke Was top 3 last year(same course event) and looks to be peaking at the right time. A lot of the players above him in the betting have had hard seasons and seem to have done their winning for now, and again, 18s for Mr D looks big to me.

Opinions?

Win, or each way?

Both "best prices" are with Ladbrokes, place odds are qtr, 1,2,3,4. Looks an each way to me?

You did not suggest a bet size (an indicator of strength of opinion), either.

I HAVE now placed bets on both, but will await your suggestions & answers.

BUMP/REMINDER

I need a steer on this. I DID get on this morning, but we should really decide the amount BEFORE the price moves, or the Auditors will be all over us.

1000 e/w on both looks good.  Got to get those free bets used.

I like both bets, more seriously 20 each way seems fine.

Perfect. Almost.

I actually had £15 EW, , let me see if I can get another £5 EW. My "Max" was £30, but I think that is "win" not "ew".

Spieth (33/1), Luke Donald (18/1), Tour Championship, £15 EW each, Ladbrokes.

Not going overboard about Shrewsbury, though, recommend £5 @ 18/5 for a bit of Tuesday-night interest.

What?

rofl.

I plonked £25 on, assuming you'd be suggesting, say, £1,400 or some daft sum.

I'll keep £20 for myself, & blame you if it goes wrong.

We have £5 @ 18/5, BMU, Shrewsbury to beat Bristol City.

Note the BetSlip below is unedited. I am keeping £20 of it off-thread. Only £ 5 is for Fred.

This market looks interesting

http://www.oddschecker.com/golf/tour-championship/handicaps

If I'm reading it right, Woods can be backed at 10-1 1/4 1/2/3 -0 on handicap ( so no head start)? Could be some value in a few of these.

Is it only PP who do this market?  125% book doesn't look great, so a bit of competition would help!

Yes there are threats

Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater etc

BCS rankngs currently (with points totals as journalists are polled and their ranking points summed)

1   Alabama    2-0   1499
2   Oregon   3-0   1413
3   Clemson   2-0   1347 -Boyd the QB
4   Ohio State 3-0   1330
5   Stanford   2-0   1241
6   LSU   3-0   1134
7   Louisville   3-0   1092 -Bridgewater the QB
8   Florida State   2-0   1058
9   Georgia   1-1   1051
10   Texas A&M   2-1   1001 -Manziel the QB

If Alabama play Oregon in the BCS final (in effect, there are lots of bowls but one national championship game) then Mariotta has a real chance as Alabama is a great team with only an average QB

I would run it. Too early to see a proper cover bet yet

Really like Brighton at 7/2 away at the mighty Superhoops tomorrow.

Overreaction price to Ulloa being out and QPR's early season wins.

11/4 seems right to me.

Suggest £30

thoughts please on Blackpool 17/10 at Millwall tonight

We know the league table, we know Millwall are bottom and Lomas as manager doesn't seem to be working

We probably suspect Blackpool top two is a slightly false position, but they don't half grind out the results...

Is this a backable price? Or fair enough?

Someone somewhere really doesn't rate Blackpool and really rates Derby highly.

Blackpool's opponents seems to be always underpriced and Derby always seem to over bet.

I mean, how many people could honestly make Derby favs at Bolton tonight?

I like it. It's hard to imagine either of them not winning it or finishing outside the top 4 (barring major injury).
