I think Tal deserves his own thread too Wink

Not sure it was a compliment Tal Smiley

I like to think the best of people, me.

Tal thread won't happen, I'm afraid. This or nothing. Feel free to vote on that if you need to..

I'm a bit torn on the free bets stuff. My gut feeling is they're part of what Fred is about, creating a winning punter, so belong here.

But, when Camel and Chompy, I think along with BadBeat and redarmi just about the sharpest of sharps on here who all guide and educate us billiantly, go the other way, it's inbuilt to follow what those guys say imo.

PS watching ch4 racing, anyone got any fancies I could have a afternoon Ayrton on?

I can't see Neil Channing been against their inclusion at all.

+1 part of thread obv.

Pretty big question tbf, but given the sheer tediousness of they'm I'd say we must off them pronto. I don't come here to win free bets, I come here to win large

No problem in keeping free bets on thread, they are already part of the spready, no point in separate thread imo. Skim reading helps if no one is interested in em!

I just find the lack of any backstory or thought or insight pulls my nose hairs even when I skim over them. The rest of the offers you mention are not analagous at all.

Ima go trim so it hurts less

Something amiss, or just not good enough?

Horrible run, hope it's amiss but just didn't look good enough

I think the point is that Fred bets on Horse A in a race because of the free bet offer; this is what makes it value because it affects the theoretical price and, therefore, the ROI. The resultant free bet is as relevant as the original selection, because you can make good and bad decisions on where to place that bet, just the same.

All part of the punting learning experience for me, anyway.

The whole package of those bets needs to be in or out en masse.

I think free bets would be best on their own fred.

I've completely changed my mind now i've thought it over.

I use these free bet offers loads and thank doobs greatly for highlighting them.

Said separate thread mainly because fred does get clogged up with waayyy 2 much stuff.

But I think the free bet offers are so +ev they should remain for ever more.

One of very rare times i've disagreed with the chompster's opinion on here.

Crikey, keep yr hair on and your value judgments private imo

Tis true I have nothing to say about the sports betting world  -that said I very much enjoy the insights and writing styles of many notable contributors - Channing, Beevers, redarmi, bobby, camel, even chompy. Each to their own dobbs old boy

Apologies if anything has already been posted about this, because I cba to read through the last 30-40 pages to check, but...

Wembley game - Vikings FB Jerome Felton is back for this game after a 3 game suspension, and I read a very interesting stat on NFL.com, regarding Adrian Peterson.

"The 2012 rushing leader averaged an eye-popping 7.25 yards per carry out of two-back sets with Felton as the primary lead blocker last season. Peterson failed to top 4.0 yards per carry in single-back sets."

He's been averaging over 90 yards per game this season anyway (Although Peterson's 93 yards against Detroit included a 78 yard TD run), and with Felton returning at Fullback, I expect Adrian Peterson's production to significantly increase in this game, even if Ponder being rubbish allows teams to have 8 men in the box to stop the run, and not have to worry so much about giving up big yardage from Ponder throwing the football.

Suggest Adrian Peterson over 86.5 Rushing Yards @ 5/6 with Paddy Power, although idk how much £££ to suggest betting.

Thanks Andy.

Can Team NFL comment, please?

Has now gone up to over 98.5 Sad Please ignore tip for thread.

Can still get over 97.5 on Sky Bet @ 10/11.
