This is what Ant sent me this morning, which he asked me to keep off-thread until now. The price at the time was 17/4, but 9/2 is available now.
I was going to wait before more bookies put prices up but I thought it wouldn’t be long before this potentially got bet right in and out of value because the info I have is public and has just been overlooked.
Back Cray Wanderers to win at home to the Met Police at 17/4 with VC bet
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/non-league/isthmian-premier/cray-wanderers-v-met-police/winner
Their previous 6 games on paper have been 5 losses and 1 nil nil draw to fellow strugglers. Of the games they lost, the results were 4-0 3-0 4-0 5-0 7-1.
However their manager was sacked at the start of the week and the Bromley FC’s reserve team management have taken over the reigns, bringing with them, effectively the whole reserve team squad. Bromley’s first team are doing very well in the league above Cray’s here:
http://www.footballconference.co.uk/tables.php?division_id=21#FullTables
And for reference from the league below, here are Cray - Premier Division -
http://www.isthmian.co.uk/tables.php
This reserve team squad are full of youngsters that the Bromley first team were not quite ready to take a punt on, but many have been through academy systems and can play a good standard of football. This was in evidence on Tuesday night when oddly enough they were up against Bromley’s first team in the Kent FA Cup, only narrowly losing 3-2 to a 90th minute effort. Of the game they could have actually put it to bed before Bromley did in the dying embers, such was how close the tie was. 5-6 Bromley reserves were playing for Cray, and only the best from the Cray team were involved, including some new guys brought in.
First match listed:
http://www.kentfa.com/news/2013/oct/senior-cup-round-2-round-up?c=1
It has to be said though, the Bromley side were mainly fringe players in and out of the Bromley First team, with the exception of maybe 3, but considering the success of the Bromley best 11, these supporting players can’t be underrated.
Regardless of a weakened side, they should have trounced Cray on paper regardless, but such is the strength in depth they had at Bromley, the reserves are a good side giving Bromley first team squad players a tough time!
This info is available to the bookies to see but I doubt they are paying much attention to this league and especially as the result against Bromley wasn’t in the league (Kent FA Cup) and they probably forgot to track cup games.
The best price is 17/4 at home to Met Police when I think it is definitely in the region of 2/1-1/1 maybe evens. Met Police are in a sorry state too of their 4 games away, they have drawn 2 and lost two, at home winning 2 drawing 1 and losing 3. In total only have 9 points from 10 games, to Cray’s 4 from 11.
I would say Cray’s new team is more that of a team at least of mid table standard in this league, but they are rated as the team that have shipped 16 in their last 4 without scoring themselves.
The value is there, it is more to do with how much you are willing to bet that you are comfortable with the bookies not being too upset with you.
Quick reminder, there has been no love for this at all, but despite Ant loading up, & all the info is out there now, 9/2 is still available. In a thin market, that is surprising.
If Cray wins, I'm sure Ant will remind us.....

Morning Mr T.
I have stated my reasons before, and I think we should oppose Mumbai Indians in today's semi final of the T20. They again seem over priced for what I see as a coin flip.
Suggest £24 Trinidad and Tobago @ 13/8 with Betfred, betvictor and others.

The Camel mentioned betting time of first booking in the big televised matches does the MCFC v Everton game fall into that? If so who offers the market.

Those with functioning bet365 accounts should back Intello in the Arc each way. You get 11/1 which is bang on Betfair and they pay quarter first 4, which is very generous indeed. He has a good draw, handles the ground, though there may be stamina doubts, as he has never done the distance, though his breeding isn't bad.
We'll get the 365 cash back on Novellist as it was NRNB.
Ha! They offered up £2.73 EW, but we'd get £30+ back, and we can't turn down £30, even if it is relatively small, it would recover our entire Arc portfolio..
The quest to back the entire Arc field continues.

If you want another tenner each way at these terms let me know. I'll put it on the account.

I think we should also have Lewis onside in the Darts @ 10/1 with Boyles for the Grand Prix.
Stand out price and the fallback of stake returned if Mvg wins(obv Fred would need someone else to place this).
Lewis is in good form and has a good draw.
Recommend £20
I notice Boyles are going first 4 1/4odds in tomorrows player championship 9, hopefully more will follow suit as I lost count of the Players I had at big prices falling at the final hurdle.
Anyone got any suggestions for this, please?
Is it a short format 2 day thing?
http://www.oddschecker.com/darts/weekend-darts-events/players-championship-9/winner
I like Wayne Jones at 200/1, with BMU so 1/2 first 2 rather than 1/4 first 4. No form for well over a year but has reached the semi finals of his last two tournaments.
MVG has reached the semis or better in 14 of 21 Non tv tournaments this year winning 9 of them. Recent form not so great but 4/1 can't be bad.
It's two separate one day tournaments.

Tony Jacklin now 10/11 to go first. We are 2 and 0 in value spots in Strictly this year.

Thanks Bazza.
Have to be interested in a 200/1 shot!
I just need to understand how this "two Tourneys" thing works. I'll have a quick google.

Great news. I think.
Tonight, or tomorrow night? Am working tomorrow night, so would not be able to sit & watch the enthralling Show. I heard Brucey is unwell, & misses the Show. How will we cope?

Everyone dances tonight and it will be shown in one two-hour show this evening. The results show will be recorded tonight but won't be shown until tomorrow night.

TWO hours? Are you serious?
Strewth. Think I'd rather read a page of 'Stars Hand Histories. At least the pain is over quickly.

No application, he'll never make it to the top.
Was just thinking about you last night, not seen you for a few days, hope all is well at home, and Mum is bearing up.
