Morning Mr T.

The court in China is the fastest hard court people have seen. Later today Nadal plays Wawrinka and I think we should back Wawrinka. Nadal hasn't looked at home on these courts and he was decisively beaten in last weeks final by Djokovic, maybe having got to No 1 he has lost something. Nadal lost in the first round of Wimbledon and this will be the fastest court he has played on since then. Wawrinka has never beaten him but this will be his best opportunity and the price is too big.

Suggest £20 Wawrinka @ 18/5 with Betvictor.

For those without BetVictor, you can lay Nadal at 1.26 on Betfair (better than backing Wawrinka at 4.9)

England tonight at 1.35 are very short to say the least, surely this is a lay at such a price?

I think the last free bet should go on Supplicant (9/1) in the Middle Park at Newmarket tomorrow (2.35).

He has been improving steadily over the last few races and won, what looked at the time, to be a poorish Mill Reef Stakes last time.  The race was run on softish going and the jockey dropped his whip at the end and our horse still went away.  Despite this they finished in a bit of a bunch, but the 3rd (Hot Streak) went out and won by 5 lengths last time, and is shorter in tomorrow's race.

I assume the ground tomorrow is going to be close to soft, as I am not that far away and we have had quite a bit of rain today, and the forecast is for quite a bit of rain too, which I think is good for ours.  The price is just about ideal for a free bet (9/1), you can't get that price on Betfair currently and we get the Saturday afternoon big race sweat.  All these things are very good for us.

The opposition looks reasonably strong, I was impressed with Great White Eagle's last run, and Hot Streak certainly slammed them last time, but we get 9/1, which I think is enough.

So Supplicant (9/1) for the 2.35 at Newmarket £25 free bet.

A consideration for a free bet, big price etc.

4.15 York Saptapadi 20-1 WH

bit of a frustrating horse but obviously thought a lot of. Ran in two Ebors, placed 5th and 8th beaten a total of 8 lengths> although no wins at York, always seems to run well.

The way he cruised into contention in Tiger Cliffs Ebor suggested 1.4m was his optimum.

Down to his lowest ever handicap mark, and with a first time tongue tie, 20-1 looks way too big for a horse off 9 stone, in a moderate handicap, especially when you consider this horse was racing in a Melbourne Cup a couple of years ago.

Welcome any thoughts

Ok, for better or worse, we can start the weekend with a whimper or a bang......

Tikay,

Coventry are even money to beat Sheff Utd on Sunday.

They should be odds on.

United are in disarray. Really struggling, they have no attacking threat.

My friends who watch United week in week out keep telling me they don't know where a goal is coming from and confidence in the playing staff is shot.

Weir has tried to play pretty football and is on the verge on the sack.

Clearly the bookies know the facts but I still believe they are pricing United up incorrectly because they seen as a big club in this league.

Get some views but worth £20.

Afternoon Hector. I've been unavailable, so missed this. They don't call me Boris the Bullet Dodger for nothing, you know.

Hope the weather is not too wet & blustery down there, I heard you were getting the worst of it.

Very close indeed, think it might be worth keeping him in the nagme moving forward.

Looked to come from a fair way back, never closer than on the line and might have just been a mistimed run.

Or I misread it completely Cheesy

Thanks Rick.

We do less & less of these sort of bets, & Lovely Luther (not heard a pip from him since) dropped us in the poo last Saturday with something similar, but you seem to have an eye for these value spots, & have a cracking ROI, albeit over a small sample size.

We are on.

Weir has just been sacked.  Not sure how that impacts the bet really.

Blimey. The power of Fred.

Never mind, we are on now.

Bobby1 will be pleased, he's a big Sheff U fan.

Only the clown in charge to get rid of now.

He certainly has an eye for managerial appointments. Bryan Robson, Blackwell,Speed,Adams,Wilson,Morgan and Weir. Some world beaters in there but at least they were cheap.
