We're off and running in the Australia batsman bet

PJ Hughes    c Raina b Jadeja    47
AJ Finch    c Kohli b Yuvraj Singh    72
SR Watson    c Jadeja b Yuvraj Singh    2
GJ Bailey*    c Raina b Ashwin    85
AC Voges    run out (Yuvraj Singh)    7
GJ Maxwell    c RG Sharma b Vinay Kumar    31
BJ Haddin†    lbw b Ashwin    10
JP Faulkner    not out    7

Six innings to go. We know Finch is a big threat, but Watson getting out cheaply is a big bonus

Bailey is into 6/4 behind Finch 9/10

Anyone for pie?

Maybe not my place to advise and my thinking might be wrong, however my understanding was the Taylor bet was attractive at 2-1 because it was money back if MVG won.

Obviously Taylor. Is well odds on to win but would it be a mistake to back Chisnall now at just over 5-1 or lay Taylor to get a similar proposition as when the bet was placed?

Thanks Omm. Think we would need to ask the darts boys. Our bet is £100 @ 2/1.

If Chisnall plays like he did against Van Gerwen it would be a flip, so 5/1 is massive. However, as was shown last time he crashed quite spectacularly against Pipe for half the game.

I definitely wouldn't be reversing my position, but I have chucked a tenner on Chisnall to cover the £50 I have on Taylor, just on the off chance Chisnall plays lights out again.

Maybe put £20 on Chisnall @ 6.4 on the machine, which is a touch better than 5/1 and you have a 2nd moneyback offer for the final Smiley

Perfect start!

We can have a real fun sweat with this bet now.

When is the next game?

Bale News

"Madrid felt under pressure and immediately released an official statement to deny the story, while at the same time admitting the player has a disc protrusion."

So Madrid are denying he has a slipped disc but admit there is a problem

remember this is the same side that bought before Woodgate and Kaka for big money without spotting serious medical issues with them both

It certainly crossed my mind, as a cheap insurance policy. That was Omm's point, too, I believe.

Definitely would not wish injury on the lad, but that can't be bad for our Goals bet on him. Think we also have another bet on him, "booking for diving" or somesuch, so that one cuts the other way.

Was the bet on Denver placed solely with the intention of betting the other side later on?

Think I would just keep the minus 21 1/2 and have a great bet myself on this occasion.

Had a look thru the Senior snooker and as it is a random draw after each round there is no draw analysis available.

At first I thought the brackets were as the games were listed and he would then have had a really soft draw but then realised it was random draw after each round. Best of 3 with no idea of who he will play after the first round just makes the 3/1 ok in my eyes. Will be on the most likely winner but at the right price really, If I had a free bet would probably take Nigel Bond at 17/2

cheers

Saw some of the senior wc a couple of years ago and the standard was generally woeful.

3/1 seems fair if Hendry is any sort of form.

I was thinking that below the top half a dozen they're gonna be pretty terrible.  He must have kept his eye in for the lucrative exhibition games - clearly wants to be invited to play against Ronnie/Judd etc rather than land on the "legends" circuit.  If it had been best of 5 matches even I'd have been inclined to punt him @ 3/1 but with best of 3 seems too skinny.

Fwiw I had a tenner on former winner Darren Morgan @ 9's but more for interest than anything - not a recommend.
